There's a reason for that. Reread the first post and thread title.

It should probably be pointed out that they weren't in a display (at least for me). At both locations they were in a cardboard dump bins mixed in with DVDs. They are pretty easy to miss if you are just walking by.

I checked a couple local Dillon's (Kroger owned) stores last night, but didn't find any of these displays unfortunately.

after a few trips to various krogers around nashville, tennessee I hit success - found almost all titles listed on other posts (except of course for 2 that I really wanted!)... at least now I'm motivated to get out & hit the other krogers again to see when their stock arrives... (the store I found them in today did not have the display set up thursday afternoon)

Got Atonement, The good Sheperd, Hollywodland and Breach today at my local Krogrer. The HD DVDs were located in a bin in the middle of the supermarket. They also had another separate section of DVDs near the cash registers. Saw around 20 titles, but no Half Baked.

Went to all four Kroger's in the area last week with no luck. Went out again tonight, and one store finally had some of these titles. I picked up:
Fearless
Alpha Dog
Hollywoodland
Unleashed
The Break-Up
Slither
The Mind of the Married Man SSN 1

All were $5.99. The only other HDs they had were Chuch & Larry, Talk To Me and Mr. Bean's Holiday. I was disappointed to not find American Werewolf In London because I really wanted it, but at least I was able to nab Slither...

I have been to three Krogers in the Fort Worth are with no luck. It seems be primarily the stores in the northeast. Oh well.

Moorpark, CA 93021 got some in finally...picked of Animal House. Appeared to have all except Half Baked...the one I actually wanted ....grr

On my second try, I found the bin where these were located and hit the mother lode. Saw at least 23 different titles, all combos of course. Most would be rentals at best (except that Netflix doesn't rent HD DVDs anymore) but I did pick up three.

So far as I can remember, all the the titles I saw have been mentioned by others above.
