Buffy started out strong and finished weak. Angel started out weak and finished strong. IMO there's enough good episodes throughout the Angel series to justify a $51 purchase price.
wow...different strokes, etc. I would say Angel Season 2 is arguably the best of the 12 seasons listed! And season 3 is close behind.

Roguh ranking:

Buffy Season 3: *****
Buffy Season 2: *****
Angel Season 2: *****
Angel Season 3: *****
Buffy Season 5: ****
Buffy Season 4: ****
Buffy Season 6: ****
Angel Season 5: ***
Angel Season 4: ***
Buffy Season 7: **1/2
Angel Season 1: **
Buffy Season 1: **

And $51 was my price....I finally cracked and bought this! lol

I missed the Buffy set a few weeks ago and was kicking myself. Now I feel a bit better, especially since I paid with it using a Coinstar voucher. Awesome show I'm looking forward to watching again.

It's only 5 1/2 x 5 inches. And 6 inches tall.

I snagged this one too.

I got the Buffy set a couple years back cheap and this one is equally cheap.

Very cool, thanks to the OP on this one.

And on a related note, the Dr. Horrible Sing-A-Long Blog is up on Amazon for $9.99. That is pretty cool for that price.

Wonderful timing - I was just about to cave and pay full price for the set (for someone's Christmas present)

Is there a window where Amazon will reimburse you if you buy something, only to have a massive price reduction soon after?

This is damning evidence that I have a major dvd problem. I am seriously hurting for cash right now, but as a huge fan of Firefly, I couldn't resist owning the entire series for $51. Especially since I haven't seen a single episode of this or Buffy. Which way to rehab?

Not anymore. That policy was discontinued a few months ago. There's at least one thread discussing it in the Store forum.

I got mine today. Unique packaging. I had no idea that it was a "limited edition."

I thought the packaging was great also. What wasn't so great was the number of discs with scratches on them. Hopefully none of the scratches will affect play.

Mine arrived yesterday. Love the compact packaging! My limited edition number is 106,301. Anyone know how many total were produced?
