The Office Seasons 1-3 and House Seasons 1-3 $14.99 at Wal-Mart

I was in Wal-Mart the other night and noticed that The Office Seasons 1-3 were on an endcap for $14.99 along with House Seasons 1-3 and a few other Universal shows for those that are interested.

Has anyone gotten House to ring up correctly?

I found a huge endcap that the price tags of everything listed here at the $14.99 prices, however it was mostly just empty space except Nip / Tuck, some seasons of Smallville, and Gilmore Girls.

The tag for House said "BF2008 - $14.99", and House Season 1 rang up at $39.99... so I'm thinking this may have just been an error these were on the endcap? I didn't have time to argue it since I was just on a 15 min break from my job.

I'd love to get all 3 seasons for almost the price of 1, but I don't want to hit up a few more wal-mart's if it's just on an endcap by accident =/

I'll admit up front that this may be a very silly explanation, but is it possible that "BF2008" means it was a Black Friday special this year?

I don't think that's a silly explanation at all. Probably exactly what it was. Doesn't appear anyone who's posted here has actually bought them?

Yea, I assumed that, but I've been so sick lately I probably just forgot to add it to my post =/ Thanks for catching it, lol.

I wondered if this wasn't just laziness on the part of wal-mart's everywhere to not update their black friday endcap, two weeks after the fact. I'm sure one could argue the fact it says $14.99 on the tag, but blah, I just don't like doing that.

I was just wondering if anyone else had seen these and the successfully rang up $14.99, or if it's just a big error.. because that's quite the deal for these.

My Wal-Mart took down their endcap display of these $14.99 sets. I grabbed a House season 3 set from its regular section in the TV on DVD section and took it to a price scanner where it rang up $39.99. I got seasons 1 and 2 for $15 a couple of weeks ago but missed on season 3. Sad to say, it looks like this deal is dead, at least for House anyway.
