^Amazon's been using that since at least the start of the Black Friday deals. It's also talked about in the Amazon Black Friday sale thread, and was on the sale pages during that sale. There was also another line about availability of product at the sale prices being limited.

That was on sale at Best Buy last week for $16.99.

And so is the Agatha Christie Mystery Movies Collection, but I'm wondering if the extra $16 is worth it for the two additional movies that aren't contained in the separate Peter Ustinov and Helen Hayes box sets. That's $8 bucks apiece for those two additonal movies... does anyone own this set and care to offer their opinion on those two additional movies? Thanks.

The Little Rascals set went up from $38.99 to $51.99 for this 'sale'. :)

Darn...I was hoping the X-Files complete collector's box set would be apart of this. Seems like it would be a great time to lower the price on that, since the new movie just came out....

Just a warning -- if the past is any indication, there will be a B1G1 on Anchor Bay titles in the next couple of weeks at DD and DVD Planet. Three's Company, Greatest American Hero, Roseanne, Sledge Hammer, Silk Stalkings, 3rd Rock,21 Jump Street -- are USUALLY all part of this sale. It may by prudent to wait a bit before pulling the trigger on any of these at Amazon.

Even though not on the list the "Little House in the Prairie" season sets are only $19.97 each (except for season 1). I got season 1 and 2 through the DD sale last month at $25 a piece and just missed purchasing later seasons from Borders last night during its 40% off sale (would have also been $25 a piece). My daugher is a big fan of these right now.

I mention this because DD and Borders now has these at $31+ a piece so it doesn't seem like a standard price reduction. So if you don't see a set you are interested in the list above it might be worth doing a search because there may be other sets also discounted.

I cannot recommend the Unseen Cinema set highly enough. Seven discs chock-full of some of the most amazing short films you've never seen.

BOTH WB Joan Crawford sets are on sale yet NONE of the Bette Davis ones! Talk about a foul on many levels.

Thanks, that's good to know. In fact, I think I knew that; I'm pretty sure that's how I picked up a few seasons of Three's Company on the cheap last year. Lucky for me, I only pulled the trigger on one season from Amazon, and that leaves precisely two left for me to be swiped up during this upcoming B1G1 sale. :)
