^^ damn...wish i would of waited for Witchblade to go on sale...sucks...0h well i still highly recommend this series for anyone who hasn't seen it and is into some serious action and fan-service!

I loved the characters, the action, the drama...everything...in fact i wish i would have brought that show with me on my long trip to fla...im not itching to watch it again!

Hehe. Bought and Paid for. I bought the 2nd to last one.

LOL. They emailed back about the broken case....and said "all you want is the case..nothing wrong the DVD?" I wonder if Brandon thinks I am certifiable.

Vandread is a great series....good choice there.

I can only comment on Tenjho Tenge as I haven't watched the other two...yet.

I purchased Tenjho Tenge at one of those Geneon Sales. Didn't really expect much except fan service and fighting, but it turned out to be really good.

Two guys enter a new school expecting to take down anyone who gets in their way. Little do they know that this school has highly trained martial artists, and they find themselves the underdogs. As it progresses, you'll find two different storylines. One from present day and the other from events that took place 2 years ago. If you like lots of action (and a good amount of red ink...if ya know what I mean...), then you'll like this series. I did...and I'm a female.

One more thing...the ending didn't have much closure. Oh, and you'll love the opening song.

Time to go to bed so Santa can come down the chimney...

Doki Doki School Hours DVD Box Set - Heralded as the next Azumanga Daioh of sorts, but it fell way short. It never lived to its expectation. Buy with caution.
Hare+Guu DVD Box Set - A comedic/zany series that is has its moments. If you enjoy this type of genre, it maybe up your alley.
Tenjho Tenge Complete - I only have seen a couple episodes on TV. It didn't stand out for me too much (so far). I have yet to watch the rest of the series on DVD. There are plenty of hot girls who knows how to kick ass...
Vandread DVD Box Set (Hyb) (Stages 1-2) (8 DVD Set) - Good choice. Even though FUNi just rescued this series, $39.99 is hard to pass this up. This version includes the 8 singles fitted inside a chipboard artbox. The other $39.99 sale boxset will be in a space-saving brick collection.

Any opinions on this one? It always seems a bit pricey. About as cheap as I seen it.

I personally liked this series. It has been a while since I have seen it. Without going into details, this series is regarded as one of the dark themed and depressing series that Geneon has released. If that type of genre/theme is not for you, you might want to pass on it. It's just one of those series that people can easily dislike.
