It's been hard for an oldster like me to be up after 3 A.M. I was hellbent on getting some Black Friday deals at Amazon! Old folks like me can't go to the big stores and shiver all night trying to race through a tiny door to get to the good stuff. I would fall down and get trampled by the cattle stampede!

There wasn't too much to pick from on Amazon's deals but I had to find some bargains to justify staying up this late. My deals were: Manilow Live (BLU for $10.95), Kung Foo Panda (BLU for $14.99), Master and Commander (BLU for $15.99), and Suburban Girl with that hottie Sarah Michelle Geller (BLU for $12.95). Total was $54.88 plus tax.

That's all I can afford this month for movies until my next pension check comes on the first of the month. I also needed to save a little money for some eats for the next three days until the retirement check gets here.

"Why wait in line for a limited selection?"

Because their "limited selection" is bigger than your "limited selection"

"Don't spend Black Friday (a.k.a. the wild shopping frenzy that follows Thanksgiving Day) jostling for bargains and parking spots."

No, spend it with our 6 "Insane" Blu-Ray deals.
(Well 5 now. The price of American Gangster is above 15.00 again)
(Err 4 really since BB had Transformers at 9.99 all day and they just included it at that price to compete)

Wal-marts selection was crap. Some were full screen. There certainly weren't 50 to choose from, unless they hid a batch in the gardening department.

yeah i'm a little underwhelmed by the bf sales both on and offline. nothing really screams i need that...now! perhaps i'm jaded getting such great deals all year. even if i don't get anything at least this is better than fighting the crowds and waiting in lines.

I feel the same way, I started doing BF 2 years ago with my fiancee. We'd wake up at the crack of dawn and sit outside in the cold for a GPS, camera or whatever (it wasn't my idea). But every since I subscribed to TechDeals, TechBargains and checked DVD Talk daily (I got my fiance setup with google reader and those feeds as well), there really isn't any deal that was so amazing that would make me want to go out and stand in the cold, plus I really don't need anything after all the Amazon Sales of late and the DD 25% sale.

Looks like it. I just tried adding the 360 version to the cart because the price was too low to show and it came up $56.99. Wow $3 off.

I'm apparently stinking at searching today, because I can't find this answer anywhere. Are there still any active $10 off $50 bill me later codes?

I tried BMLSAVES and it isn't working.

I just woke up, and that's exactly the case.

Thanks for the heads up. I canceled my original order and re-ordered. If I woke up just to save $2, then that's fine (considering Amazon doesn't help customers out with price adjustments anymore).

There's a good promotion here- buy 3 Blu-rays and save $20, buy 6 and save $50, buy 10 and save $100:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.htm...cId=1000300361

I picked up three Bond Blu-rays (Thunderball, FRWL, LALD) for $27.97 with the extra $5 value savings.

I just ordered the West Wing complete series for 74.95 and used the BMLSAVES coupon for an extra 10.00 off for a total order of 64.95 for the set. I'm pleased with that and not having to leave my house!

I'm in for Monk S6 at 13.99. That's an unbelievable price for that. I usually see it for 30-40.

Some good deals there. Black Hawk Down is only $12.99, so even with the minimum discount, it comes to less than $7.

That is a pretty sweet deal. If I didn't already buy all the Bonds, I'd jump on it and get ten BRs for about $80.

I put all 6 Bonds in my cart and went to checkout. Total with all discounts comes to $47.44. Tempting, but I only have $32 left at the moment.

I can't get BMLSAVES to work, keep getting the "we're sorry, but the promotional code you entered cannot be applied to this purchase. Please refer to your promotional coupon for information about item or store restrictions" error message.

They approved my BML account though.

Anyone with any hints?

Edit to add: Nevermind, figured out that the codes only works on the final checkout screen, not the same code box the screen before.
