I just dropped by my local Hollywood Video in Oregon.
And they are having a sale ,all $12.99 and under PV movies are now $3.99.
Person working their said this is the start of their black friday sale.
I not sure if their prices are going to be low next Friday.

They had a least 2000 movies on displayed,I say close to 4000.

for $8..I'm still happy though with a new or used copy.

My hollywood had a sign that read you had to rent two movies to get the $3.99 price.

I'll have to check that out today after work, though IF I have to rent 2 movies I'll pass.

EDIT: On HollywoodVideo.com it says all $12.99 and under previewed DVDs are $3.99. No notification that you have to rent 2 movies.

I was told that too about 2 days before the sale started that you had to rent 2 movies to get the deal.Now(since 11-20-08) all $12.99 and under movies are $3.99 and you don't have rent any movies either.

I think this is thier Black Friday sale,and this store decided to start it early at the store in Albany,Or because they have ALOT of pv movies in stock at this store.They have boxes under the displayed table that I havn't even gone through yet.

So maybe ask or call your local HWV and see when they're going to start this sale.
If i find a link that this is A BF sale,I'll post it latter.
