It is regular price, but note that it comes with the GH3 bundle. So about $80 savings.

Is that magnavox blu-ray player brand new? I've never seen one by magnavox before. Makes me a little leary. I think next year's black friday they'll be a hundred or below.

It's made by Funai and has been out for a while. They make the same basic player (with minor differences) and it's sold under several different labels including Magnavox, Sylvania, Insignia. Check the HD Talk forum at this site for the Blu-ray Player sticky thread for more info. The Funai models have had surprisingly few compatibility problems playing Blu-rays; however, the downside is don't expect firmware updates for those models. I'm not sure how their durability has been.

Thanks. I was kinda expecting some DVD/Blu-Ray/video game prices too. Have those been revealed yet?

I've had a Magnavox BD player since June... and the only incompatibility was with the DVD version of the new Sleeping Beauty release.

I think its a great player.

For some, this player is the perfect choice. Because in a few years, flagship models with a ton of more features will be very affordable. So, buy a disposable Blu player now, get some deals on movies, enjoy them. This player is less than a typical PC Blu-ray ROM.

bestbuy and target both have good 360 deals as well

bestbuy has the 60gb with tony hawk / nba 2k9 / kung fu panda / lego indiana jones for $300

target has the 60gb with kung fu panda / lego indiana jones and a $60 gc for $300

I forgot to mention that amazon has a deal today for a 60gb with kung fu panda / lego indiana jones / lego batman and 1600 pt card for $300. No tax and free shipping! It should be comparable to all the black friday deals without the lines.

I had been all set to scratch and claw my way through Target to score Psych season 2 for $13.88, and now you have to go and tell me that for $50 I can take care of my wife and my cousin in one fell swoop? So long, Shawn and Gus....
