Does anyone here feel a need for me to type this stuff up now that I actually have the ad in hand?

Personally, I wouldn't waste my time. I think, by now, we have all seen the ad. It's also such a disappointing Black Friday ad from Best Buy, that it doesn't deserve for you to waste your time typing it out!

So, one vote for "No".

Hope you are doing well, Speedy!

I'd take a well earned rest on this one. They've got ad scans on the BF pages if anybody wants to go through each of the items.

Nothing for me at BB, CC, or Target, other than maybe vulturing a few DVDs at the end of the day. Just waiting to see what Wal-Mart and EBGames turn out and I might get to sleep in as well.

Speedy, can you give me the information on the two computer monitors on sale (Acer and Samsung), model numbers or something, so I can look them up? I can't read it on the scan.

Thanks a ton, if you can...

I'd just like to see the comprehensive listing of DVDs on sale since the ad scans only show a fraction of what's actually on sale (they say plus 70 other titles...)

idiot question, but isn't the ps3 normally 399? Or do they normally not have them in stock?

Truthfully, I'm kind of relieved - after all of the recent sales, I'm not in the best of shape to take advantage of the sorts of deals they've had on previous Black Fridays.

Yeah, this is what I was thinking. I was waiting for a good BB PS3 deal, but no avail. Definitely not worth the trouble of Black Friday chaos.

Been that way for many years, the hype is always better than the actual sales.

Maybe, but at least there were some decent sales. I got a 1080i Sharp Aquos last year, 42 inches, for like 800 bucks....this year, the deals are absolutely terrible.

Seriously, its a load of BS. Every freakin store has the same stuff on sale, and they are not worth losing sleep over. Seriously, Aviator BD for 10.97? Office, Season 3 for $15? Good prices, but I'd rather sleep in. Usually it is the sales that you think will NEVER happen again that get people out of bed. This year, nothing is surprising and leads you to believe it won't be lower. There isn't even a $200 laptop, which there have been for the past couple of years.

Here's hoping to some great online deals.

I'm still hoping that this not a true BB BF ad and that the real one will be different. But, I'm not holding my breath on this - especially after seeing some of the other BF ads going around. Compared to years past this is going to let many people actually sleep in on Friday morning. I have passed up several good deals on lcds and blu-ray players from Amazon hoping to get even better deals....silly me.

However, it might just be me, but I think that after BF passes by, there might be some really good deals moving though December.

Rumors persist an extended BD will come out when Transformers 2 arrives in Theaters. Like nearly every sequel, a new DVD/BD comes out. $10 is an amazing deal if you like the film.

Count me in for Seinfeld S9 for $14.99. Finally a reasonable price for me to complete my series set!

Everything else is suck-tacular. I can't believe they don't have any more decent music or video game specials...

Is Seinfeld S9 - $14.99? I see posts stating S1-S8 or S1-S7 will be on sale
for $14.99. I can't tell myself from the ad scans if S9 will be - that would be
great, like the poster stated above, I'll be able to complete my series set.

Same goes for Prison Break - is S3 on sale for $14.99? I know S1 and S2 are.
Wouldn't mind getting both S2 and S3 for $14.99 apiece.

Yep... nothing to lose sleep over. There were absolutely no good deals there. As retailers are preparing for the crappiest Holiday Season, I thought they were going to try to spice things up! They need to TRY alot harder than that...
