Wish these were a couple bucks cheaper, but whatever. Just passing it along.

Would buy a few if I could find a bargain on an Xbox 360 HD DVD add on.

It's a good start Amazon, now take another $3+ off each title. You know you need to move these and that's the only way it's going to happen.

8.99? when it was still a valid format, w/ the 10% off for people who bought 4 in 06, a buy 1 get 1 (which was common) made the titles as much if not less. 4.99 would be a bargain, this, not so much.

I compare all HD DVD deals with the $8 (inc. tax) the Hollywood Video blowouts came to. Innet.com (or whatever that Canadian place is) has great prices and then kills it dead with the shipping. Problem for me is that I've got about 80 HDs (I'd know precisely if DVD Spot was still around) and there's little else I'd want to get, even for $5. I already have most on DVD and it's not like I'd be watching them again just cuz they're in HD.

They're swimming in them at Fry's for $39.99 each.

Animal House, Pan's Labyrinth, American Gangster, The Host, Beowulf, Zodiac, etc. are all still priced where they were in January.

Come on Amazon, drop the frigging prices already and move them out.

I saw them at Best Buy for this price as well. I bought mine new on eBay for $36 shipped.

This list is a no go for me. I either already have it in HD or don't want it for $9.

I just could never justify spending money on a dead format.

I don't know what is Amazon waiting to liquidate their HD inventory. Most of this titles are becoming worthless since many studios are releasing them on Blu Ray with more extras at reasonable prices.

For the most part, I feel the same way, but I might just order The Thing because the the HD DVD is actually better than the Blu-ray.

The hardware is dead. But the transcode is not. I'll be requesting purple disc cases in a year or two. :)

Maybe they go down a $1 a day until gone.

Amazon international shipping for dvd ruins them. Only HD left on my wishlist is Caddyshack which I foolishly didn't get when I had the chance to for cheap.
