Actually live.com gives cashback on the before coupon price. So its better than the others. Plus, cashbaq and others that deal with dvdplanet have often failed to give me cashbaq. Or when I asked for an investigation they still didn't.

I'm about to start canceling my remaining backordered items. The discount isn't worth the wait. There's no excuse for taking more than 2 weeks to restock anything. If people are willing to sit around and wait that long for something they order, I have to question the need for the item in the first place. If you're not concerned with getting a hold of the item, why bother ordering it? If more people didn't put up with the wait, maybe things would change.

I've got a shit-ton of unopened DVDs & Blu-rays to watch. I don't mind waiting one bit for DVDs to ship that I get at a cheaper price than anywhere else during this sale, plus the use of store credit which I have a ton of, it's still a great sale. I've got orders I placed the 1st day of the sale that still haven't shipped. As long as they don't come damaged, the wait doesn't bother me.

Plus, I order so much during the sale, I forget what the hell I get. I actually kind of like when a stray box shows up like 3 weeks from now & I'm like "holy shit I totally forgot I ordered these!"

This is why I hesitate to shop at DVDPlanet...

Placed my order for The Last Emperor Blu Ray on 11/7. Paid via credit card through PayPal. DVDPlanet never shipped my order so I check and it shows 'processing'. I email DVDPlanet and get this response, 'we don't have this in stock, don't know when/if we will get this in stock, don't worry as we don't charge your credit card until we ship anyway'. Call them on the phone and tell them they do indeed charge my credit card if I pay with PayPal, they say, 'prove it by sending us your bank statement'. I ask when/if they will fulfill my order, they say they have no idea.

So, my savings were not 25% but more like paying 75% for nothing.
