Does anyone know why the other 2 Disney Treasures (Dr. Syn and Annette) are not showing up as available now? Did DD not get any of the whopping 39,500 copies Disney generously produced for the entire US? If so, I wonder why they got Chronological Donald V4 in stock (also limited to 39,500) but according to others DD won't give the 25% discount on it. (Don't know if that's true... I haven't tried to order it.)

I would've gladly ordered all 3 for $24.34 - 25% each, but considering DD doesn't have 2 of the 3 and won't give a discount on the 1 they do have, DD forced me to buy them at BBY for $20 (and unfortunately $24.99 on 1 of them) + tax rather than take a chance they would be gone.

If DD gets their act together then I could buy all 3 and return the BBY ones as the BBY return period is now until late January.

i got 2 of the 3 at best buy today. probably go get the 3rd since it looks like it isn't working for the discount and shows that the it isn't in stock.

Others have reported Disney does not want this to be discounted in the sale.

Really? That's interesting. Is there a discussion of this somewhere else?

I'm surprised that Disney would take the time to request a few specific titles (the latest Disney Treasures) be excluded from DD's 25% off sale. Well, then I guess I'll be sticking with my BBY ones, or I may replace the 3rd one that I paid $24.99 at BBY with a $21.99 1 from Costco. It seems like Disney did their very best to make sure this wave of Treasures is hard to find or get a discount on. Maybe for their next run instead of making a whopping 39,500 copies they can produce only 1,000 copies and then take delight seeing people fight over them or pay hundreds of dollars on eBay. Maybe Disney should just produce 1 of each Disney Treasure and sell it on eBay for how many ever thousands it fetches? Oops... I'd better not give them any ideas. Just kidding.

Seeing as DD and DP refused to give us a deal on these, I got Donald and Dr. Syn from Barnes and Noble.com for $17.36 each (plus tax, but shipping was free). Woulda been 2 bucks cheaper if I were still a B&N member (expired 2 weeks ago). But I have a B&N Mastercard, so was able to use a 20% coupon and the military link. I'm only mentioning it in case anyone is a B&N member OR has a B&N MC...

Theres actually 2 seperate criterion with t shirts for each title. If you go to hi def page it advertises it and these are still preorders. You have to search for it and a different one comes up with different item number. Dont know why they have different numbers.

I'm late to the party, so excuse me if this has been answered. Is $193 good for The Sopranos: The Complete Series? And since it's out of stock, will it still be that price when they get it back in stock when the sale is over?

Tax?

Has Deep discount started charging tax yet? ( New York ). Not too long ago amazon started charging tax in NY and I had heard that most major etailers were going to follow suit. The reason I ask is that amazon.com is doing thier buy 2 blu rays get one free sale now, ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.htm...04041&plpage=1 ) and it would be just a hair cheaper for me to get about 6 of them that are on my deep discount wish list through amazon (even with the tax) but if deep discount has NOT started charging tax yet then it will probally work out to be just about the same amount of money and I will just order all of them through deep discount. thanks.

No tax for NYC. I used to have to pay it when I lived in IL though.

Seems like the best price around. Take a look at what the individual season sets cost, and you'll see this is a great buy. Also remember this is from HBO Home Video, which is notoriously overpriced as a rule.

If you order an OOS item during the sale it will be fulfilled at the sale price. If you wait until it's back "in stock" and the sale is over, you are out of luck.
