usually yes, they are in cases, no, not usually plastered with stickers... you will occasionally get some that look like they've been stepped on, BUT, the best part about secondspin is their customer service... most of the time, if you politely email them, they will ship you out another copy (or refund you the money if they don't have another in stock) without asking you to return the damaged/defective one.

I guess I prefer that people take some personal responsibility and not just ask the same questions that have been asked and answered many times before. You kow, the whole reason there are FAQs, Search functions, sticky posts, etc..

I use the search function 98% of the time, but sometimes it's just easier to just ask a simple question. We are talking about a used site where inventory fluctuates. Maybe someone is at work found something they want to pull the trigger on and doesn't have time to search and wade through a few threads for an answer. :shrug: Much easier to just ask a simple question, that will more often than not, get answered right away.

I've gotten 27 movies from them. 22 looked brand new, pristine disc, packaging ets. The rest were ex-rentals. I had two of these that played but were so bad, I feared they might not in every player. Secondspin sent me new discs without asking for the old one back.

Second Spin is owned/operated by FYE. The labels and barcodes they use will scan in at your local FYE like it was a used disc from the store. It might even be possible to take these discs to a local store for return exchange.

I don't have experience with their customer service but from what I have heard its pretty good so maybe shoot them an email and see if they will replace it for you. Sounds like they usually don't even want you to send the old one back either.
