25% + 4% Live.com cash back -- wow. The 4% will likely be based on pre-promo discount pricing based on previous experiences. We'll see if that sticks around for the sale. The Live.com has been as high as 10% in the past. 25+10% off! One can dream... can't they?

I wouldn't be surprised if there will be no Live Cashback during the 25% off sale (or if it was like 1%). Cashback tends to go back and forth during retailer's sales.

^^I think its usually based on how much you actually pay...hence it would be 4% off the discounted price. Im guessing it might not work either, but probably wouldnt hurt to order everything with cashback active and see if it goes through in 60 days....worst case you just get the 25% off.

Can anyone explain the live.com thing. Do I have to add items from live.com, or just use their link to DD before buying stuff? I could have saved 100s of dollars this way over the years if I had known about it.

I placed several orders through the Live Cashback links in August/September, including the B1G1 on the Twilight Zone Complete set. I haven't gotten any cashback yet. I did send an e-mail to customer service and they are investigating. I'm not saying don't sign up and use their links...just be aware it might not be a slam-dunk for collecting. --Peter

Under the store listing at live.com, click the "go to store" button for Deep Discount. You'll get taken to a page where you sign into your live.com account before it directs you to Deep Discount, and shop as usual.

If people would read the first post advertising the sale, there would be significantly fewer posts to read in the first place. Experiencing a problem with a code seems like a pretty good time to review the sale terms.

I've updated the FAQ to reflect the new 25% off information and the corresponding sale amongst the other sites.
Once again I'd like to remind people that this thread is not for people wanting to talk about things like "I wonder if they'll raise their prices before the sale." This is supposed to be an informational thread, not a conspiracy-theory bitch-fest.
