Not in my experience. Tried to get them to price match their site on an Antec MX-1 enclosure and they wouldn't do it a couple weeks ago.

However, I've seen the newspaper ad's pricing matches the website.

There are a bunch of others including Pulse [HD] for $2.99 and Daylight for $3.99, but I can't post links till I have more posts.

There are many for $5.99 and $6.99. Just search on "[HD]" and order by price.

They have Heroes Season 1 HD DVD for $14.99, and The Complete Matrix HD DVD for $19.99. Sorry looks like The Complete Matrix is sold out.

I just checked in-store pickup in my area (not SF or Houston) and I was happily surprised to see my store now participates. This means I may end up buying a lot more stuff from Frys.com and do in-store pickup. The downside from the info page about in-store pickup is they only hold items 72 hours or until the sale ends, which if you order a sale item on Tuesday means you have to pick it up that same day. So in-store pickup will have limited value, but if I'm afraid something will go out of stock it may be useful to hold it until I can make it there. My Fry's is 11 miles out of my normal path so I don't go there often.

BTW, I saw Pulse HD-DVD for $1.99 or $2.99 (don't remember which) in store when I was there last. However, having read the reviews beforehand, it didn't sound like it was worth the couple bucks so I passed on it. They also were putting out a bunch of Battlestar Galatica S1 HD-DVDs, but after Inetvideo's sale I vowed I wouldn't touch it unless they have it for $9.99.

It was $6 for one, which is high but it was also still $6 for three when I looked. I added up to 10 HD-DVD's and it didn't go over $7 for me.

YMMV...based on your location.

Pulse is worth the couple of bucks. It has the lowest bass of any movie. The test it puts on your system is worth it. Kristin Bell is worth $2 too.

Inetvideo did have BSG for $9.99

Thanks for the post iamiam, I hate paying for technology that is outdated, but 4.99 or less is my sweet spot.

I haven't seen Serenity, but I've been wanting to. I decided to go ahead and pickup a few others that still aren't scheduled to go Blu while I was at it.

Army of Darkness
Black Christmas
Daylight
The Game
Serenity

If you didn't get King Kong and want it you can check a certain auction site which has it for a little over 5.00 shipped.
