This is strange. A few weeks ago, I placed an order with Family Video for about 6 titles. Included were the $5.99 Child's Play DVD and a used copy of No Country For Old Men. I received all my orders a week later except for NCFOM. I contacted Family Video last week to let them know and they indicated they would send out a replacement copy.
Yesterday I got 2 envelopes in the mail. One contained the copy of NCFOM. The other was another sealed Child's Play. Part of me wonders if that was a "Mystery DVD" (though I ordered 5).
I wonder if I ended up calling/e-mailing them, would they have record of what Mystery DVDs they sent out. Guess I'll wait to see if I get 4 or 5 more.

After reading all of these lists of what everyone's getting, I decided to cancel my order. I sent them an e-mail asking them to cancel it, and received a reply just 2 minutes later (!!) saying that they've cancelled the order, and will be issuing me a refund. Gotta love their customer service!

Mine has been stuck at "In Fulfillment" for almost a week now....
I emailed them about it & they said this....

Hopefully they ran out of all the crap and have no choice but to give us quality releases. Looking forward to my 5 Criterions. ^_^

Mine still says 'in fulfillment' as well (adding to the "mystery" of the Child's Play DVD that showed up this week).
The problem with delaying these orders (and maybe cancelling them) is that they've already charged customers for them.

My order status says "In Fulfillment," but my shipping notification/order page says all have shipped. So I'd say the "In Fulfillment" status is not a problem.

I also just received the same e-mail...I ordered 7 in hopes that it would improve my odds that I would at least get 1 decent title, now that I have a 1 in 3 odds of getting something good I am not feeling so confident!

I got the same notice today. I ordered 7 and will be getting 3 as well. It took the better part of a week last time before they refunded me for the cancelled Journey to the Center of the Earth Blu-ray for $9.99, so I expect it'll take every bit as long for this. Luckily it's only a few bucks and was a gamble anyway. I don't recall reading a limit per household anywhere on their site though, so I'd chalk that up as their fault and still think they should honor the orders placed to this point. I guess they're sorta comprimising though which is better than some sites would do.
