I bought the Target exclusive edition mainly for the extra bonus features. I too think the packaging is pretty weak. The Hulk looks a lot more cartoonish compared to the pics in the ad.

The discs are also kinda haphazardly set up. One in the tray on the back, one in a paper sleeve, and the digital copy disc in a separate sleeve.

I'm probably just gonna put the DVDs in a different case, print out a cover, and slip that onto my DVD shelf. The brick wall is going into a box in the closet.

It's not really any larger than the Iron Man Exclusive set. It's not worth getting if you plan on putting it on a shelf library style with all your other dvd's. I assume most are buying it to be displayed.

Picked this up from Target today. Very strange packaging, but I like it. 1 disc in the back, disc 2 in a paper sleeve and the Digital Copy disc in a cardboard sleeve.

Nice to see there is almost 2 hours of bonus features on Disc 2.

I haven't played the disc yet, but if I am understanding this correctly, it's 30 additional minutes of featurettes in addition to the content already on the disc.

On the bottom of the package, if you look at the running time of Disc 2, it's about 116 minutes.

I'm confused... does Target have exclusive content or not? I really don't care about packaging. My Target was sold out, so I bought mine at Best Buy, but if Target has exclusive bonus features, I'll defintely wait for them to get more in stock and return mine from Best Buy.

Picked up the Target exclusive.

and I am regretting it a little. Like the others have mentioned, it does look really lame compared to the ad. It does look great when the brick is closed, but when you see the Hulk inside, he looks awful. (Actually when you open up just the left side of the Hulk, it does look great too)

But if I have to choose again, I probably would have gone with the blu-ray. But since I already opened this up, I will wait and buy a blu-ray when it becomes like $10.

The only way we will know for sure is if someone watches disc 2 on the Target edition and compares it with the other edition.

I was going to point that out, too. I've started to see that happening a lot with the "Free Movie Cash" offers, lately. Actually that was how I saw the Hulk in theaters. I bought some older Universal movie on sale, and it had the same kind of deal - but you could use the ticket to see either Hulk, Wanted, Hellboy II or the latest Mummy sequel. Instead of there being a physical ticket in the package, there's a website address and code on the back of the sticker. You go to the site, enter some info, and then they e-mail you back another site address where you can go to print out the ticket. My guess is that it cuts down on paper use, and allows them to track how many of these are actually being used.

Best Buy w/ the 3-D cover.

Complete with a huge sticker that's probably going to gunk it all up.

Just got home from Target and cracked open the packaging. The discs aren't too secure, so I just taped the discs over the hub with a small piece of clear tape. Kind of ghetto, but it does the trick. Also, I used the paper sleeve that the bonus disc came in for the Best Buy Sneak Peek DVD that came out shortly before the movie.

The thing I'm not crazy about is removing the UPC from the back. There is a rebate from Hostess I was planning on taking advantage of, but I'm afraid that cutting off the UPC from the back right-hand corner will make it difficult for the case to close again. Maybe I'll just forego the $4 from Hostess, I dunno.

Overall, while it's not Target's best attempt at exclusive packaging, at least it's better than the cover art for the special edition. Why Universal never went with the original poster art that evoked the Bill Bixby series is beyond me. The art that they decided to go with just seemed too 'video game' for me.

Well I guess that makes sense.

If anyone's up to it, let me know My little brother really wants to open up the one we bought from Best Buy, but I told him to wait 'til I know for sure whether or not I'll be returning it to buy the Target version.

There are still some of the Iron Man Exclusives at the Target near me, the sd one not the blu.

I went to look at it, The Hulk Exclusive, and I passed on it, and they had like 6-7 rows of 'em when I went in the afternoon.

...or else we could get someone to 'inventory' the special features on the Target edition, and compare it to an 'inventory' done by someone else of the 'standard' 3-disk version.

...my bet is they're identical, but looking forward to being proven wrong! Target LOVES to throw around the word 'exclusive' on their packaging and advertising, even when it isn't entirely accurate. I wish there were some way to more effectively 'call' them on that tactic.

Yep. Same problem here in Memphis. I actually had to take my first copy back because I was in such a hurry that I didn't notice that my copy was totally split on the sides. When I went back I couldn't find any that weren't at least a little damaged since they only had 3 copies left at that point. They should have put these on some other sort of display since it's their display rack that is doing the damage. This packaging is just too big for their normal DVD end cap. Oh well, I'm happy with the one I ended up with at the end of the day. Another thing, you can easily fit all 3 discs in the package because the wells are really deep. Overall a really great package.

Blockbuster has a framed comic book cover with the purchase of any Incredible Hulk DVD (single, 3-disc, blu-ray). Ever since Iron Man, they've had exclusives for every big movie (Iron Man, Indy, Hulk). We should start checking them out from now on. In my opinion, the framed comic is way better than Best Buy's lithograph.

Does anyone have pictures of the steelbook? My FYE didn't have any.

For people who picked up the Target exclusive edition please open immediately and check the discs. I got a set with 2 digital copies. Went to the store I bought it from (La Verne, CA) and they opened all the remaining 8 sets and all had 2 digital copies with the bonus disc missing.

I had to drive to another Target to get it exchanged.

Where am I buying it?
I'm not.At least not any time soon. There was a HULK movie that came out in 2003 and that is good enough for me.
Instead of buying HULK'08,I would rather use the money to pick up the World War Hulk TPB.

Doh. I thought it was like Indy and Iron Man. That'd explain why no one has posted it yet.

I've got the Incredible Hulk 3-disc from Target. The first store I went to was sold out, so I had to go to another that had 2 left.

The 2nd disc does indeed have Target exclusive features according to the back of the box. It mentions 30 minutes of exclusive footage in addition to what's on the other 3-discers out there.

I don't understand though why the 2nd disc was put in a paper sleever instead of just put in the same case as the 1st disc (similar to the Iron Man mask). Seems like it would have been easier to me, and that's what I did as soon as I took it out of the package anyway.
