Hmmmm... this means Amazon will most likely price match Best Buy's price next week, so I'll hold off until then and order from Amazon. It'll save tax, plus I want the Amazon points on my visa.

My local Best Buy had the Casino Royale: 2 Disc Collector's Blu-Ray today. It's priced $29.99. Since it's early, it's a YMMV.

Is the version of Day of the Dead that's on sale for $6.99, the original or the remake?

Kind of a weak Halloween offering from all of the stores, IMO. A lot of the same stuff that was on sale last year. Sort of hoping for some good deals on Dimension Extreme titles, or other newer releases.
no kidding :\

maybe 3-5 titles tops for me...

PS:
That is the single disc of Hellraiser and Zodiac pictured, right?
(I know I'd be dreaming on Zodiac, but image switchup accidents aren't unheard of!)

Wonder if they will do a Casino Royale Steelbook to match the ones being released at the same time. It would stand to reason that they would do one for each movie. Why leave out the new Casino Royale re-release?

And it appears you are paying $15 more for the 3 BD steelbooks instead of the collections. Do you think it is worth the price difference?

Hi Speedy,

Would you be able to tell me if the Children Of The Corn is the divimax version (Red and gold cover) or the regular release (black cover)? Thank you.

I an only see the spine on that one and both releases (versions) are by Anchor Bay.

It may turn out to be the Divimax version.

I think this one:

I can see the words Collector's Edition on the spine and "2 disc set" beneath the title but the case shown is white.

By the lettering, I believe it's the original.

And question about price matching at BB for anyone that knows. Circuit City has the 2-disc bond dvds on sale for 12.99 + a 5 dollar discount when you buy any two. If I brought a CC ad to BB on sunday, they would match both the lower prices and the 5 dollar discount, correct?

So the total should work out to 14.99 + 14.99 - 9.40 = 20.58 before tax?

Thanks
They may match the extra $5 off if they believe it's part of th pricing and NOT a promo incentive.

Also, the Circuit City ad has the Bonds on Page #18 which states : Available Tuesday".

Consumers are getting a little extra something with their movie purchases this spring, in a few cases. Pick up one of a few DVDs or Blu-ray discs and users will also get a digital file of the flick that they can easily throw onto their iPod or PDA.
