The free shipping one doesn't work anymore so I'm not sure....
I picked up 3 or 4 DVDs last week when I ordered it so it didn't bother me too much....

FYI, Mother of Tears and Pumpkinhead (20th Ann Ed) are both going for $9.99...

1 x Pumpkinhead Collector's Edition; Lenticular Faceplate DVD $9.99
1 x Mother of Tears DVD $9.99
1 x Child's Play Anniversary Edition Widescreen DVD $5.99

Sub-Total: $25.97
$1.99 Shipping (5-10 business days; USPS): $1.99
Total: $27.96

Not bad considering all were released this month.

Not that it's not a good deal, but I have to wonder if it deserves 4 exclamation marks.

THANK YOU!!!! And yes, this thread deserved four exclamation marks, lol. I heard about Chucky's little 20 year Birthday bash DVD, but was kinda meh at $10. $6? I'm all over it. I also picked up Texas Chainsaw Massacre Special Edition ($3.70 something!!!!) and Rodan/War of the Gargantuas 2-disc Classic Media DVD (just came out 9.9.08) for $9.99!!! That's the best price I seen, DD and real life stores have it at $14.99 or $19.99. $10 for it is a steal.

So I got all 3 DVDs (4 movies in all) for $21 and change. First time FV user. DD I mostly shop at. This is a steal. Thanks again.

Thanks, Torchur317!!!! Great price on Chucky. Picked up a few more that are cheaper than DDD when you divide the $1.99 S&H between them all.

Child's Play: Chucky's 20th Birthday Edition $5.99
Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat: Special Edition $9.99 - buying sight unseen for Bruce
Class of 1999 $5.99 - cheapest I've seen this too
Risky Business: 25th Anniversary $7.99 - new release, great FV price
Death Note Vol. 5 $10.99 - awesome price
Rod Steele 0014: You Only Live Until You Die (Unrated) $13.99 - buying sight unseen; couldn't resist at this price, the lowest I've seen

Last edited by DVDude!; 09-23-08 at 11:39 PM. Reason: I put Death Note Vol. 5, but it's Vol. 6

I've seen this DVD in the store and it doesn't have a lenticular cover. It doesn't even have a slipcover. Is this just a misprint? Has anyone else seen a lenticular cover for this release?

Are these new? I can't seem to access the site right now. (Having issues with my sucky ISP)

EDIT: How are their used discs compared to SecondSpin / Wherehouse?

I believe the double disc has special features plus the digital copy.

The single disc is barebones.

Thanks for the heads up, OP. Ordered Child's Play, Risky Business, Savage Streets (only 8.99 !). They have a pretty decent used selection as well, ordered a bunch of those (including Son Of Rambow, 5.99)

Felt guilty over the $5 off $5 thing, so I went ahead and ordered several of the mentioned titles.

Thanks OP, although I'm sure that most of these will end up as $3.99 titles at BB/CC, or in the $5 WM bins eventually.

Is Brotherhood of the Wolf any good? Is it worth a blind buy?
