Amazon Buy 2 Blu Get 1 Free Sale
 

Amazon is having a Buy 2 get 1 Free blu ray sale but when you click on link no movies show up. Even if you put three in cart it doesnt show up as being a sale. I placed order and then sent email with link below stating it says any blu ray can be purchased as part of sale. Got response a few hours later and they said they corrected it for me. Checked order and they did take cost of one down to 0.

The blu Rays are from MGM and Fox.

I don't think this is the same thing. I just received an email yesterday about a buy 2 get 3rd free deal. And yes, I received an email about that previous bargain as well.

But when you click on the link to the new email, the page it sends you to says:

This makes it sound like it's on any Blu-ray. But I take it these type of deals don't usually include pre-orders, even if those titles come out the same day.

i clicked on that link, followed by the link to the Blu Ray store but i can't seem to locate this sale...

Its over. Fox dropped the price on many catalog titles so Amazon nixed the deal.

I preordered the Godfather giftset, the Ultimate Unrated Comedy Collection and the Austin Powers Collection. No discount showed up during checkout, so I sent an email and in response they removed the cost of the Austin Powers set. Order total: $115.90.

I had one big order with 12 pre-orders (convenient number). Anyway, I canceled that order and broke it up into 4 separate orders. Nothing was taken off my order, but I sent an email and now each one of those orders has one free Blu-ray. So, I'll be getting The Third Man, The Man Who Fell to Earth, Iron Man and Sukiyaki Western Django for free. I like this deal. :)

2 different sales. This one may be a mistake and might be fixed soon.

I put 2 orders in and they were all for pre orders and got two resonses saying they will take off the lowest priced dvd.

Guys, the link was originally for the Fox/MGM sale but if you place an order, then send them an e-mail, they are applying the sale to any blu-rays. It's a mistake and I don't know when they will pull the plug on this.

Where are you sending your email request? I want to get in on this deal

they stoped sending response e-mails like 4-5 am.

So what is the deal with this? I tried to call Amazon to find out and the outsourced people don't really have a clue about anything. Can we get a clue? I had already previously pre-ordered both the Godfather Collection and Austin Powers collection. If I could get a third set for free I will gladly cancel them both and re-order with a third set.

Then email them with a copy of link showing what the sale is and within a hour or so you should get response back saying they will take off lowest priced item.

I placed a couple orders, one with Box sets, but didn't want to push my luck as one box set would ship out almost immediately and didn't want to take a $200 gamble, so I cancelled that one order.

It still works. I placed an order 2 hours ago and just got an adjustment.

Places 4 orders, and got adjustments on 3. 2 of these included blu box sets, so i'm not going to press my luck trying to get the 4th. When I log in, the free item shows as 'price not available'

Looks like this worked. Ordered 3 blu-ray box sets and sent off an email about the buy 2 get 1 free promotion. Within a few minutes got a reply Amazon would adjust the price for a free title. Checked my order and it already was adjusted, but it has a note on the free title about emailing me about a price approval before shipping. Did anyone else see this on their order after contacting Amazon? That has me a little nervous even though the email says they were adjusting the price for one of the titles to zero.

All come out about the same time so I took advantage of the free shipping as well. Should be right about $100 for all three after adjustment.

Worked for me as well. Placed 4 orders last night, sent off the message, and woke up to a message indicating they'd dropped the cost of lowest-priced item from each order.

However, I also see the "Price not available" message on each of my "free" items. Hopefully this is just some wacky default message.

I tried one as well. Called the customer service but the guy was pretty unhelpful...he just said he was have the Marketing Debt. call me back when the issue was fixed, so I sent off an email as well. We'll see if this works, I kind of think the promo page is just a placeholder for them to put the actual sales items into later, but it is still worth a try.

Okay I'm in for a few more orders. Sent off a couple of more emails and about 5 minutes later got the price adjustments. First order was for in stock items, so I should find out soon if they will honor this.
