Hastings Used & Clearanced Rentals Buy 2 Get 2 For $.02
 

My local Hastings video store (Norman, OK) had used dvds Buy 2 Get 2 for .02. This is most likely a big YMMV, as it is not advertised that I know of, and I believe their ad this week states it is Buy 2 get 3rd for 1 cent.

The signs (they were everywhere) said it was good 9/9 - 9/14.

I picked up

Their used prices usually stink so bad that it is hard to get a deal. Ex. Used Rescue Me Season 3 - $33.00.

I tried to get some boxsets with this sale a few months ago, and the clerk was very rude and told me it was only for rental movies only. The sign said all used. She wanted to argue, and I told her forget it, and walked out.

Hastings has raised their used DVD prices over the last year or so. PVDs used to be less than $10, but are now usually $13 or $15. Having said that, this Buy 2, Get 2 deal does help, especially on older catalog titles. Getting 4 movies for less than 10 bucks is always nice.

Also, for the Norman folk, they have a special section of PVDs that are 50% off, PLUS Buy 2, Get 1. The cashier I had unexpectedly gave me the Buy 2, Get 2 on top of the 50% off, but that's probably a YMMV.
