You're welcome! I tried to post this deal last night but the forum software was acting up.

I ordered the Oceans Trilogy, The Wild Bunch, Rio Bravo and Grand Prix.

There were a ton of other titles I would have bought if I already didn't have them.

Thanks at these prices I even ordered some of the out of stock items. I don't think they will ship, but if they do it will be a nice surprise.

It's hard to say for HD-DVD titles but Deepdiscount has come through on out of stock items in the past.

Grabbed National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. It's a title I feel dumb for not having owned. For $8.99 it's worth it, even if the transfer is barely better than SD.

Looks like inventory moving fast at DD.

Alexander Revisited: Final Cut, Appleseed: Ex Machina and troy were available two hours ago but no longer do now.

Placed a big order of warner titles myself. I think this pretty much done with my HD-DVD collection.

Don't forget to use Window Live for 8% cash back!

Damn. I wish I had known about this sooner. I'm not confident I'll get much of what I ordered. But it was worth a shot. Lots of great titles for 9 bucks. Don't forget to use live.com for 8% cash back...

I don't understand the "live.com" discount. Is there a code or is this something you have to sign up for?

I ordered all the Kubrick discs I didn't already have. I was beginning to think those would never drop in price.

I don't like how the main HD-DVD page have V for Vendetta prominently displayed for $8.50, even though it's no longer available.

live.com is a rebate site by MSN. You link to DD through live.com and you'll get 8% of your purchase total mailed to you in the form of a rebate check in 60 days.

Many thanks OP. I was pretty good on most of the titles, but decided to spring for "Ultimate" Matrix for $28. Already have all of them in regular DVD, but I've been wanting to see them on HD for a while

Sadly, the Animatrix is still only in SD. However, $29 is a great deal and is actually cheaper than what DD is charging for the Complete Matrix.

Keep in mind the Ultimate Matrix set is Combo disc...for those that despise them.

I picked up 3 HD DVDs from them simply because they are tough to find. Hoping things come back in stock soon...

Thanks OP for sharing details about the price drop/sale. And thanks to those of you who mentioned the 8% cash-back live.com details. I just joined and used that account for the checkout process.

I ordered the following In-Stock items:
Casablanca
IMAX - Galapagos
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

And these out of stock ones:
Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang
The Assassination of Jesse James

I already owned most of the ones I would have wanted. I am very close to owning every HD-DVD I would want! Then I will only focus my attention on my expanding Blu-ray collection.

Funny, I keep saying that yet I keep ordering more and more titles. Its a sickness now.

I'm pretty sure I'm almost done for myself. I hope I don't keep ordering too much more. The number of movies I would want is fewer than most people on this forum, I'm sure, but I own a little over 100 titles and want only about 15 more that are on my wish-list. That's it. After that it's just going to be Blu-ray purchases for me (I hope).

Thanks for the heads up. Picked up the Oceans Trilogy and Assasination of Jesse James (on backorder- but hopefully they will get it back in stock)

Thanks for explaining. I signed up and got the extra 8%.

HDD : PAN'S LABYRINTH $ 8.99 In-stock
HDD : 2001 A SPACE ODYSSEY (SE) $ 8.99 In-stock
HDD : JUSTICE LEAGUE-NEW FRONTIER $ 9.89 In-stock
HDD : A CLOCKWORK ORANGE (SE) $ 8.99 In-stock

What's weird is only 2001 showed in-stock on my original order but they are all showing "in-stock" on my confirmation email.

Note that they have several titles priced at $9.89 like Justice League: New Frontier.
