Order them online for store pickup.
They'll hold them 8 days that way.

The reports I'm still getting are STILL indicating 20 or more people at store opening. (Which usually exceeds the store quantity).

I didn't see it listed, but two of the Best Buys near me also had the Blu-ray of The Orphanage on sale. I think it was $22.99. There were a couple of other titles marked down that I didn't see listed on the ad.

Hey all, I just stopped by my local BestBuy to check out the titles eligible for the Tropic Thunder ticket. They are all $9.99 except for the $6.99 Team America. The titles are: Airplane "Don't Call Me Shirley Edition", Eurotrip Unrated, Old School Unrated, Anchorman Unrated, Tommy Boy "Holy Schnike Edition" School of Rock, and Zoolander. For the price, pick one up and enjoy the unevitably awesome Tropic Thunder.

I just stopped by BB to get Old School. For anyone who's interested, the eligible titles have a tropic thunder sticker on them. On the back of the sticker is a code that you enter at www.TropicThunderMovieOffer.com to get your ticket. The site is not working yet though, but the offer is only valid from 8/15 to 8/30, so they will probably have it working by 8/15. $12 maximum value.

Sweetness! I have received my confirmation e-mail that Superman II shipped today. I had originally wanted The Ultimate Superman Collection tin, but in the last few weeks I've pieced together most of that content for far less. $3.99 for Look! Up in the Sky: The Amazing Story of Superman from Columbia House, $5.99 each for Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut, Superman III and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace from Circuit City and now just $9.99 for Superman II. That's a total of just $31.95 and the only thing I still don't have is the 4-disc Superman: The Movie. I even got Bryan Singer's video journals as a free podcast download via iTunes, and even though it's not part of the tin, I snagged Supergirl for $7.50 at Wal-Mart. Thanks to these sales--and Speedy for letting me know about them--even if I paid full price for Superman: The Movie, I'll still have saved over the price of the tin. Rock on!
