Definitely some solid titles here - but watch out for full screen versions.

Any recommendations? (not counting titles that go on sale for $4 at BB/CC, 3 for $12 at FYE, or $3 at Big Lots)

Once Upon A Time In China, I think. The three titles for $15 is not bad at all.

I foresee several rounds of ordering, but first on my list is:

If I had to choose 3 from the above list, I'd probably go with Limbo, P.S. and One False Move or Once Upon a Time in China. But you really can't go wrong with any of the above, IMHO, just boils down to the kind of genres you prefer watching.

I was thinking of getting:

The Quick and the Dead
Following

But, some research tells me Following is non-anamorphic. With Nolan's newfound success, maybe a rerelease is in the wings?

Eh . . . I'll peruse the list once more.

Following was shot on cheapo 16mm for a 1.37:1 image.

Please be advised, Jakob the Liar is the one with Robin Williams, not the original German production. I prefer my old VHS tape with that one.

A few titles of interest:
Sex, Lies and Videotape, Finding Forrester, Peggy Sue Got Married. There's also Spike Lee's Get on the Bus over there, it might be worth buying.

Thanks for the clarification. Now that I picked up Quick and the Dead at Amazon for 3/$10 though, I'll have to review the list again.

I see that many of those titles are also on Amazon's 3 for $10 list. I'd check the other thread first.

Maybe on the Real Ghostbusters
