Blu-Ray: Sydney Lumet 2007 - Before Devil Knows You're Dead - Lightning Deal 6AM PDT

It's supposed to be today's 9 o'clock (6 AM Pacific Time) lightning deal at Amazon, not sure what's the price, it's normally $24.95.

I'm not posting links to Amazon anymore, I'm not in for the referral bonus anyway, and I'm sick of the deal deletion nazis. Just browse yourself if you want it.

Any words on the quality of this BD?

Not to be crude or anything, but if anyone has been longing to see Marisa Tomei in all her naked glory (what can I say, I fell in love with the girl back in the early 90's), this is that film.

It is $17.45. At that price, I believe I'll give it a rental instead.

Looks to be a pretty solid disc. I rented this when it first came out. Might have to pick it up.

Big recommendation from me on this one. The less you know about it going in, the better, and the BD looks and sounds great (for a dialog heavy drama at least).

I ordered it in the 3-for-2 deal a couple weeks ago, so I actually got it for a little less than that lightning deal price.

And yes it is a great flick. With a really nice transfer too.

Yep, I just got mine in yesterday from the same deal.

Seemed more like a desperate bid on the part of her to make a paycheck. The scenes were certainly exploitative. Wonder why she didn't make it big. But its a good movie though

I too highly recommend this one. Excellent performances from all involved and another worthy addition to Lumet's storied, very great career. Loved the screenplay too.

I actually wouldn't have been surprised if Albert Finney (or Philip Seymour Hoffman) earned an Oscar nomination this past year.
