Hmm. Seems kind of high for 1/2 a season, but I guess this is the results of the new writer's contract.
I think I'll wait for a bigger sale hopefully.

I'll have to agree with you here. Shortened season shouldn't be this much. But I've already seen it, so I'll wait for it at a better price.

$43.45 here after taxes, assuming in-store pickup. Amazon: $43.95.

I'll stick with Amazon. Might be a better deal in low-tax states.

Of course.
Even the SD sounds a little high. I still have them queued on my older HD DVR, since the wife hasn't watched them yet. I can wait awhile too.

I preordered it from Borders with a 40% code for a grand total of $40.69. I think this code works. BR4906

Do we know the difference in content between SD & BD? Chuck seems like a much better deal for BD then Heroes does at $5 difference.

According to Amazon.com the difference for Heroes: Season 2 pricing is about $15... As for CHUCK, it's actually $10. Never pay SRP.

Different Studios... Different Pricing.

Thanks for the heads up. I went ahead and just ordered from Amazon. $43 after tax + free shipping.

More differentiating factors:

Heroes: 11 episodes
Chuck: 13 episodes

Heroes at least has a precedent set with a feature laden first season, the second season should deliver as well.

I'd call it a wash.

tv series tend to drop in prices fairly quickly (unless it has "trek" in the title).

I'll wait for the inevitable b1g1 or a general drop.

I'm gonna save my 40.99 and buy a blu ray set of a TV show that doesn't totally suck.

Season 2? Worst Heroes ever...

Wow. That sounds pretty cool, especially since the show was getting back on track when it ended. I wonder if that means unfinished CG or missing scenes or what. NBC should have ponied up to finish them and use it as a marketing tool for season 3.

I sat in on the Heroes panel at Comic Con where they showed the whole first episode of S3, and I can tell you that things look very very good.

Just bought it from B&N [27.99] if your a member and plus if you use the 5% off Visa plus any one of the 15% off coupon codes comes to ..........22.90. Now if you can wait until tomorrow and if they still have it down @ 27.99 then you can use the 5% off Visa link plus 20% off codes C7J8D4W you can get it even cheaper.

You big tease!

Can you tell me if Adam is in the episode?

Now will that 20% code be for anyone or just members?

I can, and I don't believe he was. Entertainment Weekly and a whole host of other sites have posted spoilers from it, or a PM would work.
