It will be listed at Amazon though, eventually, and when it is I bet it will be close to that price. Amazon has been pretty good with bluray prices.

That's cool it will be in Blu-Ray, but if memory serves (and I haven't seen an episode of Chuck in Hi-Def since back in January when it last aired) Chuck looked particularly awful in high def. I was really disappointed in the High Def broadcasts on NBC. Hopefully the Blu-Ray will improve, but don't go expecting Lost like image quality or anything.

I dunno what you watch but NBC's stuff is stunning (1080i). Do you watch it OTA or thru cable/satellite?

I'll put this here...

How does WHV work? Do they charge your card when you place the order (for pre-orders) or when the order ships? If you pre-order two items with different release dates, do they ship them separately or wait to ship 'em together?

They don't bill until items ship. They ship items separately as they become available. They charge sales tax in NY State. Not sure about sales tax in the rest of the country.

Justice League s1 bluray is also listed.

edit-

I caved and ended up ordering:

Chuck s1 bluray
Terminator s1 bluray
Pushing Daisies s1 bluray

I already own Justice League s1 on dvd so I'm not going to double dip on that until there's a substantially better deal.

That's weird because my credit card is showing a temporary authorization for the full amount of my order despite the fact that the nothing I ordered comes out until September.....

did you use a check card or a regular cc.
check cards are charged(temp) at least once a month until the item is released

Regular credit card.

I don't mind, it's just that it's weird.

I too own JL on DVD and will not double dip, but not because I don't want to or am saving some cash, but because they screwed up the Blu-ray release by not making them in widescreen!

I already ordered Terminator as well and now I'm just waiting on the site to add the Matrix Blu-ray set so I can combine it with an order for Chuck on Blu and use that 30% off one more time....

Yeah I'm also thinking about the Matrix. I wonder what their price before the discount will be.

You will not be billed . They are reserving a portion of your credit line on your credit card to prevent you from exceeding your credit limit so that when they actual bill you the charge is not rejected by the credit card company. I believe this is standard practice anytime you use a credit card where you are not charged immediately such as when reserve a room at a hotel and hold the room for arrival.

huh! So I don't have to worry about saving out that amount because they've basically done that for me? That's nifty!

Chuck Blu is $34.95 at Amazon / $27.96 plus tax at WHV
Pushing Daisies Blue is $27.95 at Amazon / $20.97 plus tax at WHV
John Adams is $38.99 at Amazon / $27.29 plus tax at WHV

Both have free shipping, and I have had no problems with WHV, so they get my money.

While the 30% off coupon is multi use, you can not stack coupons. One coupon per order.

That's what I figured but I thought I'd ask. They emailed me another coupon (this one for 25% off) the other day.
