I'm guessing Gotham Knight which is anime, not manga.

Re: Batman: Gotham Knight

To begin, it really depends on what interests you. The single disc release just has the feature itself, whereas the 2-disc release also includes a featurette on Batman's rogues gallery throughout the years in comics and another on Bob Kane (Batman's creator). It also includes four episodes of "Batman: The Animated Series," which technically have nothing to do whatsoever with "Gotham Knight," but they're good episodes. If you *just* want to watch GK, however, you might be best served to rent it from Amazon or iTunes for $3.99 and skip the bonus stuff.

If you want to own the DVD, though, most of the good deals already happened when it was released almost two weeks ago. Wal-Mart and Target are both pretty close in pricing; you're going to pay just under $14 for the single-disc, just under $21 for the 2-discer and around $23 for the Blu Ray Disc.

The best deal, as far as content, was really at Target when it was released. They had an advertised price of $19.99 for the 2-disc set, and they threw in a bonus disc of four episodes of "Batman Beyond." Even if you found one left at Target with the bonus disc, the price has already gone back up to $20.99.

By the way, for other "Gotham Knight" fans, it looks as though a CD soundtrack is coming out Tuesday (7/22) and there's already a novelization paperback book written by comics veteran Louise Simonson.

Okay. He wrote magna instead of manga, and I didn't pick that up. I think Amazon has it for $21.95. I watched it off of netflix. It was good overall, but the first and last parts were the best.
