Target Prices: July 20 - July 26, 2008

HI DVDTalkers!

Got the Target circular for 7/20/08 - 7/26/08 in my hands.

Please be aware of the following:
  • All New Release CD / DVD prices listed are advertised as Available Tuesday 7/22/08
  • Suspected Low Price is listed in parentheses
  • GAMERS: The Wii Gaming System IS listed in this week’s ad on Page #4 // Quantities limited // No rain checks!
  • From time to time special deals / prices will be listed in the Store Notes Section & the in the product price thread that may or may not be available in your specific geographic area. This is due to Regional Market Variations of the nationwide ads that I post and as such, not all deals / prices will be available in all Target stores. Please note that this version of the Target ad originates in the Northeast.

As always, ask any questions and I'll try to respond as soon as I can.

This'll be two weeks in a row nothing comes out that I am interested in. Thank God, because I'm nearing broke at the moment.

Thanks speedy!

I can almost guarentee it's the single-disc, just like it's always the single disc of Knocked Up and Dreamgirls you see for $10, while the regular price edition always stays the same

You never know, National Treasure was 2-disc, atleast at my Target. Could always price match at wal-mart and may get away with 2-disc. YMMV.

I've got my eyes on Mario Kart, although I'm not exactly banking on it. I never see it in stock at any of the stores I go to.

any iPod/gift card deals?

Target sometimes runs iPods with free gift cards equivalent to 10% of the iPod price. Any sign of that this week? If not, anyone have any inside knowledge of when they might run that again? I want to combine that with one of their 10% off cards that I get periodically through the Target Visa! (yes, they work together, I' ve used it that way before!)

Sorry to say that I'm mistaken on what I told you earlier.

On Page #2 I see Free Target Gift cards for the 8 GB Touch Ipod ($30 Card / cost is $299.99) and the 8 GB nano ($20 Card / cost is $199.99).

Sorry for the error....

if i bought an iPod less than 3 months ago, still have the reciept which expires on 8/11/08, can i return and get the GC? thanks.

Hmmmm.

I'd say that you should call your local Target only because I don't know if there's a 30 day proviso in regads to returning and rebuying an advertsied item.

And scott1598, you do mean 3 weeks ago as opposed to the 3 months listed above??

If within 3 weeks I'd say they'd probably do it.

no 3 months. Targets have always had a 3-month return policy, there is a 3-month expiration date on the reciept itself to let you know when the return policy is up. i've gotten price adjustments at a few places with reciept before the return policy expired (usually 30 days, but not a Target) with no problems.

anyone think Target might have "Spaced: The Complete Series" in-store for $34.99? i'm not sure how they are on somewhat obscure titles. i just don't want to trek to BB tomorrow.

My Target won't do "price guarantees" within the 90 days. They will take unopened returns back, but not price adjustments.

So do this: Buy another one this week, and take the just-purchased one back with the OLD receipt.
