An FYI, on the A&E Romance Collections. Apparently, there were editions of these which contained an extra title with them. I noticed these editions were listed on Daedalus Books website for $60, but I figure the extra title in each addition, is more than likely under $20 from places like Amazon, so this is still a good deal. I bought both romance collections, btw. Got the second one a few days ago and it will certainly take up some space.

These are the same companies. One is for internet orders and one is for orders to be placed through USPS mail. They used to have a link on the edwardrhamilton site that said something like, "Want to pay by credit card?" that linked to hamiltonbook.

Well they mailed my Thunderbirds on 07/12/08 and I have yet to recieve it.

No I never recieved an updated shipping notice, but I should have known post a complaint yesterday and get it in the mail today (only took 15 days). It arrived in good shape I wish who ever packed it would pack for DeepDiscount. They did an excellent job.

Received my Thunderbirds megaset today. I placed my order on July 12. I never got a shipping notice.

You might want to check Amazon Marketplace for some of these ... I picked up Century of War SS for $30+ shipped ... The Saint Megaset can be bought SS for less than $40 shipped ... but after reading this Amazon contributor review, I decided to pass ... I gotta draw the line somewhere :)

I got my Thunderbirds set around July 18.

(sigh) Previously I had bought a couple of the 2-pack sets via Hamilton Books and I only needed one more to complete the full set. I found the last 2-pack needed online for $30 and then this offer came along for the megaset and roughly the same price. Seemed like a no-brainer to pull the trigger and get the megaset. :D

Fuck. I got the wrong DVD in my order this time. Well, it did have the word ROMANCE in it, like my original title.

I'm in a similar spot. I have "Secret Agent" sets 1-5 and to complete the series need only set six ...which never goes on sale.

There are currently 2 volumes of the The Saint The Early Years (B&W).
Does anyone know how many B&W episodes are unreleased on DVD ?

Update. I did my own research. Vol 1 is the complete 12 episode series 1.
Vol 2 is the 1st 16 of 27 episodes of series 2. So they still need to release the rest of series 2, 23 episodes of series 3, and 9 episodes of the short series 4.

The color mega set are the 47 color episodes that made up series 5 and 6.

Its been several years since there has been a new release so this maybe one of the many incomplete series.

There are 71 B&W episodes of The Saint. Right now the only way to get them is to go PAL, from either the UK, where they're in a huge 18-disc set, or from Australia, where they're in three sets of six discs each. The Aussie ones are region-free.

Are you sure the Aussie ones are region free ? Per an Amazon user review of Vo1 2 of the early years:

"I bought the entire set from Australia, not knowing they were not "region free" as stated. Been watching them on my PC. Fabulous! What can one say about Roger Moore that hasn't been said. Can't wait to finally watch them on my TV!!"

I own several ITC series from Umbrella Entertainment, and all the packaging have the region globe with the word "ALL" in it. Perhaps the Amazon reviewer was using a player that can't handle or convert PAL?
