Figures all forms of Batman are on sale this week. I just picked up TAS V3 and 4 from other sales. *sigh* And the complete series box was "announced," too.

Oh well, just the second and third Batman Beyond sets. I might bite on The Batman, but I just don't know...

I was going to pick up The Ruins:Unrated this week at $16.99 but starting Sunday, July 13th...less than a week later, it will be $14.99. Isn't this a bit unusual?

I find it sad that at $22.99, Best Buy is offering Juno on Blu-ray for the second cheapest price I've seen. Really? $22.99? Not that I didn't like the movie, it's just one of those Blu-rays that is never on sale and always seems to be priced higher than everything else.

And the BD is $29.99 this week and $22.99 next week. Pretty good price next week, I guess I'll wait.

Not of late.

The price / pricing of DVDs is sliding in major ways each week.

I believe the DVD pundits have stated that we are back to price levels from 4 or 5 years ago.


I beleve the general strategy is move as much Standard DVD as possible whilst trying to educate a largely uncaring public of the benefits of Blu-Ray.

Usually I've been noticing price slides about every two weeks.

A $2 slide in one week now doesn't surprise me at this point.


And let's not forget the potential of Toshiba's super-upconverting player.....
