Asking the same question in the Target and CC threads as well.
Don't hurry too much to answer. Thanks a lot.

Best Buy has:

Dynex 26" 720p LCD HDTV
SKU #8632964

$429.99

That's the only 26" set listed.

I really liked the 3 that I have. I just need to pickup the Super Soldiers volume.

The mythology sets are fun because all the episodes contained therein all focus on one theme.

The abduction volume has a classic 2 part episode with Steve Railsback that had me riveted whenit was first broadcast and once again when I watched the set.

I don't think that you'll go wrong with any of the 4 mythology sets.

Someday I'll pickup the Complete Series of the X-Files.

I think I might get the first two, if not all three of the Outer Limits sets since I would get a free movie ticket with each of them for the new X Files movie. That's a pretty good price overall then.

I am sick of them doing this. Putting a new release BD on sale the week AFTER it releases. Guess I'll be taking my receipt in for another price adjustment. grrr!

You can get a REALLY good buy on those X-Files Mythology sets if one uses that coupon from the X-Files Revelations thread. Even buying just one set with the coupon will reduce the cost to $7.99 (plus tax)... a really good bargain.

That's a great deal. I especially recommend picking up Batman Beyond season two, seeing as how it's twice as long as seasons one and three.

That looks like the Collector's Edition which is not an exclusive.

Ok, duh. I got that mixed up with the Target exclusive which was a tin with a similer cover.

Besides, looks like a CC price match if BB won't honer it.

i got the collectors edition for 5 bucks at FYE and really the only thing worth while about it, is that for sure you get the complete deleted scenes... other than that, it's pretty useless.

Looks like it is a version that listed at $39.99 retail? What was special about it? The list of movies with the ticket is MUCH longer online and have free shipping.

Here is the x-men:

......never mind, looks like collector's X3 just comes with some comic books but no extra DVD content.

X-men collectors edition wasn't a mistake! YAY!
12.99 with a free movie ticket.

They also had about 10 other unadvertised titles that come with the free ticket.
cool stuff!

Just got back from Best Buy. I wanted to browse, and hadn't seen anything in Speedy's post that interested me. I purchased Planet of the Apes 35th Anniversary Full Screen Edition (only edition they had), Harsh Realm (the first and only season) and The Pretender movie edition ( both full length movies that followed The Pretender series). All of these were on sale for $12.99 and were eligible for the free movie cash for the X-files (up to $8.50), so I picked up 3 of the movie cash as well and was out the door for $42.19 after tax. There are 20 films that are eligible for the X-files movie cash and I believe they are all priced at $12.99. I mention this because the ad that Speedy used only shows six DVDs, whereas the back of the X-files movie cash shows all 20. I checked a couple of the listed DVDs at BB online website and they all came up $12.99. When I got home I found out that Best Buy does sell a WS version of Planet of the Apes but it is for $24.99. Amazon is selling both editions of Planet of the Apes with the prices flipped for some strange reason, with the WS at $15.49 and the FS at 23.99. Since I wanted the WS anyways, I'll return the FS version to BB and I just ordered the WS edition from Amazon.

On the back of the free X-files Movie Ticket are the following DVDs all Collectors Edition versions:

The Day After Tomorrow
Fantastic 4
From Beyond
I Robot
The Lone Gunman Series
Night at the Museum
Planet of the Apes 35th Anniversary Edition (FS only)
Pretender Movie Edition
All 4 X-files Mythology series
X-man 1.5
X-man 3 The Last Stand (cover 1)
X-man 3 The Last Stand (cover 2)
Misery
The Outer Limits (Volume 1-3)
Invasion of the Body Snatchers
