The Greatest American Hero S1/2 double set has a regular price of $14.99. Wonder if it will go down in price when they eventually advertise the 19.99 sets at 14.99. Greatest American Hero DVDs do have edited music if it bothers anyone.

I was looking for Brady Bunch, or Alf sets, but didn't see much. I saw Hunter. 21 Jumpstreet st., Martin all seas 1 and 2. Priced at 14.99

the 21 Jump street ones are repressings that are by Mill Creek.. I almost bought them until I realized... I did some looking and they are really compressed per online intel....

I wouldn't be too concerned. I bought Hunter Season 1 from best Buy last week and the quality was really great. I was impressed.

The Greatest American Hero sets are also Mill Creek versions.

On a side note:

My Name is Earl S3 & S4 pack is $24.99. Figured it was an ok price so I grabbed it since I missed it during the BB sale. The Night Court seasons 1 & 2 pack was $19.99.

The opening theme song is there. Music used on some scenes were removed. The music that was removed includes songs like "Help Me Rhonda" and "Rocket Man."

Were those songs removed on the Anchor Bay sets?

Huge fan of GAH and may get these (on sale of course) just for the covers.

There were some others mentiioned like Brady Bunch, Alf

No Hunter, 21 Jump Street or any other AB set except GAH.


Was bummed to see Reba S5/S6 and Earl S3/S4 priced at 24.99, so the sale probably won't be as good (was hoping for both for 14.99).

Hope Target is not going to make this a trend. 2/15 during sales was a nice deal. 2/20 (or more on sale) will make me hesitate on many of these.

^I just got back from Target where I *expected* to pick up Reba S5/S6 @$19.99 but left it on the shelf seeing the $24.99 sticker. At that price it's currently a better deal ($12/each) at WM.

The Target here has doubled the shelf space for these 2 packs and *most* of what's been mentioned was there... but at mostly higher prices.

I did pick up S1/S2 of "Married with Children" and S1/S2 of "Greatest American Hero" ($19.99 and $14.99). However I plan to wait for a sale to really get them for less...

Both seasons were in the new slim packs. It was 24.99. I'm sure it'll go on sale eventually

The Target near me didn't have any of these new bundles. So I took a chance and drove about 8 miles to another one and was lucky to find most of these newer bundles.

So I picked up the Brady Bunch set.

I may go and get the Alf sets later, perhaps when they are on sale.

I do hope that they'll have the other seasons of Brady Bunch bundled together soon.

Guys, there's a problem ... these sets are not out yet and Greatest American Hero hasn't even went into production yet with Mill Creek. Hunter Season 2 has yet to go into production ...

I've seen the Greatest American Hero two-pack at Target and it seems to be the Mill Creek one. Maybe they just rebranded the old AB discs and called it a day?

^^Gee... that's funny 'cause I'm looking at the GAH S1/S2 set right now. The one I picked up at Target yesterday. Each season has the unmistakable Mill Creek logo on the back bottom left of the double-width keep-case. The case art for S1 matches that shown on TVshowsonDVD.com.

I've not opened it yet so I don't know how many disks are in S1 (the AB set has 3. I'm assuming 2 for MC.), but the package indicates 4 disks for S2 (the AB set has 6). I don't know just what extras are in either set other than an "Interview with creater Stephen J. Cannell" on S1.

I picked up seasons 1 and 2 of "My Name Is Earl" in the new slim packs for $19.99, seasons 3 and 4 of "My Name Is Earl" in the new slim packs for $24.99, seasons 1 and 2 of "Martin" for $15.00, and seasons 5 and 6 of "Reba" for $24.99. Hoping for price reductions on these within the next 90 days, but I wanted to pick them up now over risking waiting and missing them. Only seen a couple episodes of "Earl," so it was basically a blind-buy, but for this price, in the new slim packs, and given the great things I've heard, it was a no-brainer.
