SurfinHank, I was just at the target here in Fayetteville Ga..kicking myself, I didn't see these. Is this part of their annual sale? I thought those DVDs were on sale a bit later most years, like Feb? Where these in the back of the store, or with the regular DVDs???

Well, last year I never could find these. Sometimes they were supposed to be in the seasonal reset - but I found them near the other DVD displays, but by themselves. My store was out of SNL and Lucy. My store had a slightly different set with

Golden Girls S1/S2 and S3/S4,
some show about a boy S1/S2 and S3/S4, ( I think it was Boy Meets World)
Quantum Leap S4/S5
Jag (not sure of the seasons - but there were 2 different pack outs)

In the regular 2 pack section, I saw they now have a Tales from the Crypt S5/S6 pack.

I forgot about these, saw them too:

They were in the regular DVD section. Actually, the entire section, DVDs and Blu-rays, looks like it had been mostly reset. Saw lots of new titles. The section where they used to have the discounted Universal TV sets (Heroes, Bionic Woman, Monk, Parks & Rec, etc) has been replaced with the 2 packs. Also, some were on that newer "cross promotion" mini-endcap (don't know what else to call it)... where they had Green Lantern and Captain America, etc. when they were new releases.

Interesting...hopefully, this isn't just a west coast thing, or selected stores. I looked all around the DVD department here, and was thinking it was about as lame, and deal free as I had ever seen! I'll be close to another store tomorrow, hopefully they will have something like what you all are seeing!

If the trend from last year holds true, these $15 sets will be $12 in a couple of weeks, so hold onto your receipts.

Funny they combined S4/S5 of quantum leap since they had S3/S4 last year. Oh well. My store doesn't have any of these yet. Just saw tales from the crypt and maybe a monk 2 pack.

I would like several of these sets, but I have a feeling they will be 12.00 in a couple of weeks, Will probably buy some later this week for the eventual PM.

I've noticed most everyone posting about this in in California...anyone else seeing these in stores elsewhere?
I was in two stores south of Atlanta. Either they were putting them out late or they didn't get these. I went to the Fayetteville store Sunday and Monday night, and it looked like they were just setting stuff up, but the tags didn't have Quantum Leap, Magnum, Jag, Hawaii Five-O S1/S2 ,
I Love Lucy S3/S4 , BUT did see tags if not the dvds to shelf talkers for Sex and the City S1/S2
S3/S4, and Psych S1/S2...
Looked in the back of the stores and they have some stupid name for whatever the spring sale is...(Bogata? Bogorter?) and all I saw back there (again perhaps It was early) were cardboard box displays with fitness DVDs and nothing else...

I feel your frutstration. Last year I could not find these $15 2 packs as hard as I looked. So far, the two places I saw them, they were on their own shelf in the DVD area.

Well, haven't been to the two closest stores, but was down in Newnan GA and finally saw what others were seeing! They were in the regular DVD section. They too had whatever that dumb name is for the annual sale, but again, just exercise DVDs and some Video games, no "real" dvds.

Went to a couple of my stores near me in the East Cobb, GA area. I didn't any of the $15 sets other than SNL. And the other 2-packs they did have, they were stickered and rang up at $30 or a little more.

Nothing I really wanted/needed unless they had season 5 and after of JAG (maybe in the future?) or maybe the Magnum PI sets to get as early gifts for my parents.

I swear my store shelf looks exactly like that with a lone tales from the crypt on the bottom.

I also finally found all the $15 sets people are talking about. Was surprised they are prominently displayed in the front of the DVD section instead of hiding in the back of the store like last year. One store looked almost out of some sets, while another store had plenty of each.

Yeah, I was surprised that the layout out my store matched EXACTLY like the picture too.

BTW, are the Magnum PI TV season (or any of them) individually wrapped? I have S2/S3 from last year and would like to unload the extras in the 2 2-packs.
