Hastings TV on DVD Sale
I was in Hastings today, and surprise, a big dvd sale!
I don't remember all the titles, but I snagged Leave it to Beaver S1 and S2 for 19.99 each. They also had all seasons of House and Law and Order for 24.99 each.
On the flip side, I found a used season of Deep Space Nine for 80 bucks! You could also buy House MD used for 33 bucks. What planet does Hastings live on? lol

^They live on the "Planet of MSRP" where new titles are list and used titles are everyone else's everyday price for new.
I'm constantly amazed that people actually purchase stuff there when there's not a sale going on. I've done that once because I ran across a new copy of a rare OOP title for $1 under the original MSRP. They had a used copy of the same title next to the new one with a price that was 50% higher!
I may just have to swing by and pick up some Beav for that price...

Sometimes their cluelessness has actually worked in my favor - they get MSRPs messed up frequently and every once in a while they can be much cheaper than retail.
An example that comes to mind is the Yakuza Papers set which still retails there for 21.99. I've found others too.
Generally, though, you're right - they aren't great for bargain hunters unless you are looking at used titles.
