Google Checkout $10 off $10 (Buy.com) ending June 30th

Yep. The title says it all. For those of you who haven't opened a Google Checkout account and claimed your $10 bonus, you have until the end of the month.

Not sure what happens to accounts which are opened but not used by the expiration date.

It what point am I supposed to see the $10 off. I signed up for google check out on 4/15. I have not used it yet though, and this is my only google account. I am trying to purchase the Rambo Blu-ray set. (for $18, why not).

I am on the purchase screen (after clicking google checkout), that shows the item I am purchasing, my credit card info, name and address and has a button that says "place your order now -- $27.88". Should I already see the $10 deducted and a total of $17.88? I am not clicking that button until I know if it should be deducted yet or not.

Do you think I am not seeing it since I signed up over 2 months ago even though I haven't used it yet?

That I can't remember. I did sign up because I was reading one of the deals on this forum. Just never went through with the purchase.

I know I signed up on 4/15 because I have the confirmation email.

I think this promo stopped working for a lot of us a long, long time ago. But for those who are somehow just stumbling across it, welcome back from Mars

I've known about it for a long time, just never tried using it. Sorry I am not like some who used it 40 different times and became experts at it. Seemed like a good time to try it out now with the 20% from DDD.

Buy.com is selling their Blu-rays by way of DDD with the %20 already subtracted from the price. With an additional $10 off I was persuaded to use it for once.

Google Checkout has a bounty on my head. Extreme fail on four different attempts through Buy.com.

How does it work when you want to find a movie that DeepDiscount is selling? Will it just automatically show up? I wanted to buy "Hot Fuzz" 3-disc with this deal, but I'm having trouble finding it.

I don't think it is all DVD's and Blu-rays. For Rambo, when I click on the Blu set, underneath the add to cart button, it says "Ships from and sold by DeepDiscount". If I click on the DVD set of Rambo, it says "Ships from and sold by BigRockMedia".

I've also known about the google promo for awhile, I just haven't signed up for it. Not all of DD's dvd's are available on buy.com, but a lot of them are.

I didn't see anything jumping out at me. I had already placed an order from DD when the sale first started. I wound up picking up the Oldboy Tin Set from BigRockMedia for $19.92 shipped. I just hope I don't regret it and it comes in mint condition. I'd hate to have to bother sending it back.

With the DDD sale over, the prices aren't quite as compelling. I think I'm done buying blu-rays for a while.
