I hit the Big Lots in Cary, NC this afternoon more for 20% off sundries than for the DVD's...but still looked and found two I don't remember seeing mentioned before:

The Killer Shrews/Giant Gila Monster (double disc colorized set from Legend Films)
The Most Dangerous Game (colorized from Legend Films)

Both were $3 each. They had 2 other copies of MDG, but I could only find one of the Killer Shrews/Gila Monster.

They also had the Thunderbirds box for $5 and the Michael Moore box for $7. Multiple copies of each still there.

I also hit the Big Lots in North Raleigh on New Bern Ave. Nothing really special in the DVD's, but a fantastic selection in assorted dark chocolates (best selection I think I've seen at any Big Lots).

I've been skipping the New Bern store a lot, mostly because it's the furthest out of the way for me (in Durham and all..)--and just too far from the others to justify. Always liked the Cary store, mad props to Mike for being a nice guy on the staff there.
Though it was funny trying to explain to them what boxsets were when I was still waiting for them to appear, heh...

I'd love top find The MDG. Does that edition also have the restored b/w, or only the color?

I actually picked this up from Biglots a few weeks ago. It has the restored B&W and the color versions.

My Huber Heights store got plenty of those(6 or more copies) in maybe a month ago(?). I bought one copy of the Killer Shrews/Giant Gila Monster but after getting home and checking the Amazon reviews and watching Gila Monster I went back the next day and bought the rest! Call me a pig but being a 2-disc, in both colorized and original B/W, nice transfers, movies sooo darn bad they are good...yummy. (Not for re-sale profit though, all are pegged to be given to my friends/family this Halloween month).

I haven't...member "That'sAllFolks", reported seeing Rudolph and also Magoo at $5.00 each. I think I would pass on Charlie Brown Christmas at $5.00(I assume it is the "old" version) since the latest version out now is supposed to have a better transfer- http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/35009...n-christmas-a/ and so I'll wait and hope to snag a copy of the new version somewhere on a sale for $9.99(?) maybe...

My local Big Lots recieved some new restock but some new titles such as:

Bugsy: Extended Cut

Replacement Killers

Hell boy Director's Cut 3 Disk

Sleepwalkers

Devil's Backbone

Adaption:Superbit

Capote( Philip Seymour Hoffman) probably not new but I have never seen it at my local big lots

Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Was hoping to find The Hitcher. If somebody could find a Hitcher for me I would pay 3.00 plus shipping. I am good for the money. I am a gold trader. I could possibly also get titles from my local big lots in exchange but they are extremely limited. The Hitcher version I am looking for is the HBO series and not the movie with Rutger Hauer.

I hate the fact that I paid $9.00 at walmart for the 3 disc Hellboy. Right there in my face today it was for $3. BTW, is Sleepwalkers any good? I put it back and got Devil's Backbone instead.

Then your looking for the Hitchhiker series, Both are commonly confused for one another. I was lucky enough to pick up all 3 volumes in may or so.
