While out running around today, I picked up Code of Silence with Chuck Norris for $3.00 at the Kettering, OH store. I had passed on it earlier but then last night I read the reviews on Amazon and decided to pick it up after all...

Just picked up a 20% off coupon today at BL and was told its vaid all day Sunday not just 6-9pm. I think I will hit the store in the morning and get some of the titles I was holding off on.

Checked 5 stores and came away with 32 titles.
Of those titles, the only one I don't see on the master list is A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon (1988, River Phoenix)

HBO restock at the Coon Rapids BL...including "Cracker: Series 3" and "Angels In America". Still plenty of MGM titles at Brooklyn Center. Heading for Knollwood later today.

I called my local Big Lots yesterday and they confirmed that they were honoring the coupon all day, despite the "6 PM to 9 PM" restriction listed on the coupon.
So I stopped by this morning and picked up the following for $2.40 each + tax:
FX2
Hope and Glory
Storefront Hitchcock
Clean Slate
The End of Violence
Swamp Thing
Mayor of the Sunset Strip
Eat Drink Man Woman
The Saddest Music in the World

the big lots i hit finally had dvds. the problem was they were strewn to the 7 winds. stacked all which way. Some on rows so short you couldnt get them out, I dont know how the hell they got them in there to begin with.
Saw a few full metal alchemists but not enough for me to try and piece the series together. Also saw Samurai 7, but only 3 of them. I aborted on the hunt. As i was walking away, saw species3 in the sampoo aisle. For the $2.40 i was going to spend i decided what the hell, the movie plus commentary will be worth a laugh.
