Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Criterions, Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc.
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Return period is 14 days after delivery though possibly it's 30 days now for most people though there is a discrepancy b/w the receipt and website.
Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept

Single Item 15% OFF, but should be reusable in different transaction and if the Clerks will scan it more than once.

Likewise: Everything I've ordered instore ship-to-home has certainly not had the members 10% off taken off - because the member bonus for online orders is free shipping and not a discount, and that counts for ship-to-home, however much I've asked..!

They used to do both 10% AND free shipping, but obviously they want to encourage people to buy instore. Not least because Barnes & Noble (store) and BN.com (web) are, so they've told me, different companies..... in some manner.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Does anyone know if my 10% member discount will be applied if I preorder a Blu Ray box AT THE STORE and have it shipped to the store?

Thanks.

Did Laser ever post the coupon? I couldn't find it. What was the code?

I can send some that you can print (if your store requires physical copies). Just let me know what you need
Oops. Thanks for the reminder, hari, since you mentioned this before & provided the link to print the coupons. Like a doofus, I was thinking that it was just to copy/paste in brower (for online coupons). Now I see how I can print out in-store coupons instead of just handing the codes to the clerk.

thanks again for the codes! Merry Christmas to both you & Laser...Our BN go-go guys!

I think the only online ones right now are posted at the start of the thread. The codes being given out now by members are in-store only.

I would expect the B2G1F sale to start early January like it usually does.

B&N in the past has had some decent after Christmas and clearance sales. However last year I don't remember seeing anything worthwhile. Seems like they just held back the sales and coupons, but expected everyone would spend their gift cards they received over the holidays instead of looking for bargains.

By members I meant dvdtalk members. It was early morning. Typing's hard for me.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Huge thanks to noiradelic and hariseldon and sleepyhead55 for all the help with this BN sale. I scored the things I wanted the most at about the best prices I could hope. (A BD.com member even came through with a 30% coupon since I didn't get one)

Batman LE 161.99 - 10% - 30% () - $5 transaction coupon. I did have to buy a CD opener to use the $5 coupon, but I also used a groupon purchase I made in mid-November (that I almost forgot about) to sweeten the deal with an extra $10 off of that!

Vincent Price and Vincent Price II, both with 25% coupons and a $5 transaction coupon for a total of around $60 + tax.

I may go pick up a couple of things tomorrow at another BN, but I will be busy and it may be hard to get out.

I second the thanks to hariseldon, and also Laser. I may have coupons to re-gift tomorrow after my last shopping trip. Stay tuned.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

If there are any 25 or 30 percent off coupons still floating out there, I'd appreciate one. Been a B&N member for 3 years now and get coupons maybe once a year in the mail from them.

How? I paid $97 plus tax. Were you one of the lucky ones who received $10?

Come to think of it, I paid $82.49 + tax since I used a discounted gift card.

What $10 are you referring to? Should I be searching my email for something?

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I read, I believe in this thread, that some members received a $10 "Thank you" from BN within the last month.

EDIT: See post #10684.
