Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only.

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Criterions, Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc.
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Return period is 14 days after delivery though possibly it's 30 days now for most people though there is a discrepancy b/w the receipt and website.
Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept

Single Item 15% OFF, but should be reusable in different transaction and if the Clerks will scan it more than once.

Too bad there isn't a store coupon version. I'd try to get the BBS set with it.

Unfortunately the new online coupon information B&N releases now doesn't include most of the online codes anymore. It makes it more difficult finding the actual codes, but it appears there could be about 4 of them. Hopefully all the codes can be found. Since the current code is not working can't tell if it is real.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I got an email from B&N with a 50% of 1 item offer. Has anyone else been able to get one of these to work? I logged in using the e-mail the coupon was sent to; tried checking out Dr Who 5th Season blu-ray, and was denied. Just curious if anyone's had any luck with this offer...

Was this a personal coupon offer? There have been some complaints with those personal type coupons not working. They are supposed to be designed to work with the email address and account they were sent to. Sometimes they won't even work with the email address of the person who received it for some unknown reason. Unfortunately they can't be shared with anyone else either. They seem to use a longer code compared to regular coupons everyone can use.

Edit to add: I would suggest calling customer service and telling them you cannot use the coupon. I would ask them if it is possible if they could place the order for you over the phone and apply the 50% discount. They should be able to do this for you, but the question is if you can find a cooperative CSR that will.

I just got done testing the 30% code and found out it is now active. I'll add it to the first page. Hopefully can find a few more of them.

I didn't get that coupon, but when checking my accounts to look for it, I discovered I had a 10% off coupon good for the ENTIRE purchase, but it expired yesterday. DOH!!!

Nice coupon, I just wish I could use it with a free shipping link (for under $25 items). Now I have to decide which one order I'll place using my Member account... I must choose wisely...

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Ok I have a membership question here that I would really appreciate the help in answering:

I renewed my membership on November 1, 2010. I checked my account the other day and it said my membership expires on Oct 31, 2011. I was under the assumption that it (my membership) would expire on Nov 30 2011. I asked a CSR at the local store and they said this was the case. I called customer service and they said they would make a note of it.

Am I totally wrong in assuming that my membership would be renewed until the end of Nov 2011? I'm only asking this because I renewed in November with the strict intention of taking advantage of any future Criterion sales?

Thanks for any help in answering this question.

I think you can use the coupon with the visa link from the first page.

Sweet, thanks, I never knew that! I always pay with my B&N Mastercard, so I never bothered with the Visa link. I tried every other free shipping link in existence, but never that one. This is an awesome coupon then, since you can use it an unlimited number of times, as long as you create a different account.

The visa link isn't working for me. When are you meant to see the discount?

I've used it twice this morning already, so it definitely works. Did you enter the coupon code during checkout? The discount should appear as soon as you apply the coupon... If you go back to your cart AFTER applying the coupon, you will see the reduced price in the cart.
It sounds like you might be mixing things up. The visa link only gets you free shipping. You have to use coupon P4A4N7P to get the 30% discount...

Quoting myself, I just want to say that you do not have to use a Visa when using the Visa link. You are supposed to, but I did not... The MC coupons they have had in the past always required a MC, as well as the current AMEX coupon which requires an AMEX, and the system would not allow a different card type, but the Visa link does not enforce that...

Okay. The coupon and free shipping is working, but I was looking for the extra discount from the visa link. Thanks

Oh. You cannot stack discounts. The only exception being Cashback, which you can stack with a coupon, but then you can't use the Visa link for free shipping. If you are buying something for $25+, then you can use e bates for 8% cashback in addition to saving 30% with the coupon, and still get free shipping. The Visa link is only needed if you would not otherwise get free shipping. You would save 5% with the Visa link if you were not using a coupon...

So the coupon discount has been showing up, but now when I go through checkout it keeps invalidating the coupon. The discount shows up until the review stage (right after I enter my cc info), where it removes the coupon and replaces it with the 5% discount. I'm wondering if this has to do with me actually using a Visa, since you mentioned you used a different card.

They changed their policy in October. The membership now ends one year from the date that you enrolled, not the last day of that month-

Great Migrations Blu-ray is half off at 24.99 and is coupon eligible. After applying the 30% coupon it was 17.49 plus tax. Be sure to use your favorite cash back option for more savings.

Got The Pacific [Blu-ray] for $44.79 + tax last night right after the 30% coupon went live.
