Sounds like a good idea for a thread. However I only get occasional emails with codes and it would not provide enough content to make it worthwhile. I've seen other forum members posting codes that I never received or knew they existed. The only way WBShop thread may work is if it were a group effort providing the codes, and someone is willing to update it all on the first page to make it easier to find them without searching through a thread full of posts.

Has B&N done something to their website? I can't place an order any more. When I go to check out, there are boxes to change "shipping address", "payment" (where I can put in my coupon codes & payment type), and to edit the cart. No other button exists, not even for "order review". There is no "place order" button.

I wrote to them for help, and they wrote back to clear my cookies, but even after doing that, nothing changed. I still can't place my order. I have tried both Internet Explorer 8.0 and Firefox 3.5.5. Help!!

Did you try rebooting your computer? I just looked at the web site and it seemed to have all the buttons, including the "place order" button. Don't know what else to suggest other than trying a different computer.

If it's any consolation there is an online 20% coupon coming next week for all customers. Looks like that might be as close as it's going to get to a 25% online coupon.

The 20% coupon will certainly be welcome!

Thanks for the heads-up.

I, for one, would be glad to assist in a WBShop coupon code thread. They send out a code good for the month your birthay falls in.

Yep, did that. Didn't help.

I called this morning. Turns out that they couldn't ship to my default address (PO Box). Another error message that popped up was for me to choose a new shipping method, but nowhere to enter that, either. NOWHERE did it say that shipping address was a problem, but CS was able to duplicate my problem, and we tried different things until suddenly it allowed the order to be placed, using a street address.

Could someone with a B&N membersip and Mastercard please test this coupon. I noticed B&N seemed to quietly pull the coupon but it is no longer coming up expired today. When I tested it I got a message my order does not qualify for the coupon. It might mean it is active now since I do not currently have a membership.

List updated. Looks like a great week ahead for online coupons. There are five 20% and five 15% online coupons coming later in the week. Most of them are non-member.

Also I noticed the deal of the day at B&N is for Upstairs Downstairs Complete Collection for $59 before any additional discounts.

As always, big thanks for all you do here Laser.

But curse you, and more my buying addiction. Never seen that show, but have always heard the rave reviews and planned to check it out someday. At ~$40 after discounts, how can I not buy that set?

I wonder who the person is who has the job of creating all of the coupons. I think they create the more restricted coupons when they are having a bad day... I think they enjoy hiding the coupons, to see if anyone will ever find it and use it...

The coupon expiration date was extended for these coupons but no exact time was given to when they actually expire. Here is what it says in the fine print now.

This offer is valid for a limited time, starting December 11, 2009. This offer is subject to change or discontinuation without notice; we will, however, honor properly placed orders with valid methods of payment with sufficient funds placed prior to such change or discontinuation, while supplies last.

Is anyone having a problem using the 20% coupon codes that are valid from Dec. 17-19? I was unable to apply any of the 5 codes to any of the DVDs I wanted to buy (Robin Hood: Season 2, the Monty Python: Almost the Truth), and I didn't read anything in the "fine print" for the coupons that would disqualify those purchases. Maybe B&N haven't activated these codes yet?
