You should have enough posts. On the previous page there are 2 forum members with only 14 posts that now have the ability to send and receive PMs.

Have you gone into your User Control Panel to make sure PMs are enabled? You should find it under "Edit Options" in the Settings & Options section. Make sure the box is checked for PMs.

The option Enable Visitor Messaging is checked - is that it? I don't see anything specifically that says PM.

There should be a section directly above Visitor Messaging that has the Private Messaging options. There is a box to check to enable PMs. Can you see it?

On the previous page I tried sending you an email. Apparently you never received it. For now I'm giving up trying to send anymore emails through DVDTalk until I know it's working again.

Maybe you still don't have enough posts? Not sure why others with fewer posts seem to have PMs enabled.

Sorry, this wouldn't even be a discussion if the emails were going through for coupon requests. Probably will have to post something in the feedback section to try and figure out what is going on.

All I can suggest to everyone that wants a coupon that cannot receive PMs is to post your email address in the thread. That way it can directly get sent without using the forum. You could delete it after you receive a coupon. Maybe use a secondary email if you're worried about spam, or don't want your main email address made public.

I logged in this morning and I see that I now have the PM option again. And I have enabled all the PM options to receive email and messages from everybody. I will send both of you a test message.

If you have some coupons left, would you try to send them to me?

I wonder if DoverMath's PM option also magically appeared this morning.

I received your PM and sent you a coupon. I checked Dovermath and it appears he also now has the PM option on his account. There must be an activation delay when you hit a certain number of posts before the PM function is enabled. Anyway was able to send him a pair of coupons yesterday after I received an email from him directly. Fortunately he still had my email address from a previous time when I emailed coupons.

Yes, the delay between sending is normal.
