Just a note for anyone waiting for things coming back in stock, I'd noticed during the first big Geneon sale that sometime around 3-4am EST the cart system seems to clear out everything in the system. Not sure if that's still the case or not...

Although I found this, I highly doubt that tin can fit all eight standard DVD black cases. Or is this more analogous to something like the ROD Volume 1 + artbox version?

It's a top-loading tin artbox (slides out) that holds four clear double-sided thinpaks.

It's a really well made tin artbox.

You're correct. Double-sided thinpaks will be utilized for future Viridian releases. They actually listened to the consumer complaints about he VC series.

Is there a reason why some titles keep coming back with an "A" status when they were clearly sold out with a "B" status. Does it mean there is a small, remote possibility that these ultimate "B" status titles will eventually be restocked with more copies? BUT the better question might be HOW LIKELY?

Just want to acknowledge the sucktitude of Cybuster. There's only two good episodes in the entire series (one towards the end and the final one which is an extra episode that takes place before the series). I sold mine on ebay after watching it for a decent profit.

Does anyone think they will restock the Trigun Remix DVD's? I can't place an order for a couple more days and was looking forward to getting these DVD's more than anything at the moment. It's easily one of my favorite anime series of all time!

that has been out of print for some time my friend. I was lucky enough to actually get the vol. 1 + box + rest of the dvds when i ordered from the amazon marketplace (placed an order for JUST the vol. 1 and they sent me the entire collection..and legit region 1 too O_O) but im sure ebay would be your best bet if you're williing to spend quite a bit of money (i think?)

"A" status = There is possibility of it getting restocked. It may take weeks or longer than that.
"B" status = It's now unavailable for purchase. Every now and then it may be restocked, but don't count on it.

There is a chance that it may get restocked until it's No Longer Available For Purchase. You would have to keep an eye on the counter around the clock (if possible). If it gets restocked, there probably won't be too many copies to go around.

Couldn't pass up Last Exile vol 1-7 for $5.00 each at Rightstuf and I also picked up Mushi-shi Vol 5 to push me into free shipping.

Me too. Picked up a few other DVDs to get free shipping as well. 83% off? Can't pass that up!

Cheers,

Frosty

Just noticed a few of the Geneon sale items got restocked overnight.
Some also no longer have counters on them like Mermaid Forest Vol.1 with box and Ultra Maniac Vol.1 W/box.

Edit: Counters reappeared

Just warning... When I placed an order the Last Exile at TSRI and I think volume #3 and #5 (this is guessed, not sure which one) has only 10-20 QTY left. I don't know if they're restocked...

I got really excited after reading this and even noticed that all the Trigun Remix listings are back up. But only volume one is in stock now. Maybe they are trying to get more? I finally can afford to place an order for them now and I want them SOOOOOO much! I hope they restock. Trigun is just about my favorite anime of all time.

Ugh... I just noticed that all Ergo Proxy DVDs are $15 at RightStuf. I just bought volumes 2-6 them from RightStuf a little over a week ago for $26.98 each. I could've saved $59.90!

Do they have any kind of guarantee like Amazon if the prices go down?

It would be a no if the order has already shipped. It's not shipped and/or reserved, they should be able to change it for you.

I'm fairly certain they don't price match after it's shipped, but I have had price adjustments for pending orders as long as it doesn't affect free shipping..

If it's less than 30 days and they're still sealed, you can request a return for a refund and re-order..

Thanks for the replies, WTK and johnsun. I've already received them, and opened three of the five to ensure that they were okay. (One disc was loose.) I'm not too keen to return two DVDs to take advantage of their sale. If it were their policy, I'd be okay with it.

When I ordered I double checked that they still had some in stock (40-50 I think...), however looking just a couple minutes ago they are sold out of vol 5 & 7.
