Thanks Speedy! I'd like to pick up the 2-disc national treasure and Jumper, but no money right now. I wonder if they'll have all the Indiana Jones for $10 or just Raiders? Interesting.

Is there just a theatrical version of National Treasure?

Those prices are listed that way on Pages #6 and #7.

There are two versions, a 1-disc and a 2-disc. But I cannot on earth imagine why the 1 disc would be $6 MORE than the 2-disc. I only have the one, but I want the two.

Finally Seinfeld Season 9 is down to $20. I will probably pick that up.

i've been waiting for a good sale on season nine.. thats all i need is season nine.. the rambo set looks pretty good too, is that the one in the tin that came out last week?

In that Rocky box set, have the sequels been remastered and (more importantly) anamorphic now?

Really would like to get National Treasure 2-Disc for $10. :fc: I know Target sometimes puts the wrong picture in place of the other DVD, but I always have to get a manager involved to honor the ad's picture. We will see -pray-

So....any word on that Rocky set being Anamorphic (for all films)?

I was wondering that too. The ad shows the same 2-disk version for both prices.

Dropped by Target today and the $10 National Treasure was the 1-disc version. The 2-disc version was going for $15.99.

But I had no problems pricematching to the $10.00 at BB.

Picked up Rocky:The Complete Saga for $19.99. I counldn't resist the price for all 6 Rocky movies in the series. If anyone's interested, I watched the widescreen version of Rocky III last night and it was anamorphic. Rocky III through Rocky V have widescreen on one side of the disc and full frame on the other. Rocky, Rocky II and Rocky Balboa have widescreen only (I assume all the widescreen versions, beyond Rocky III, are also anamorphic but I haven't watched the others yet). The only extra on Rocky I -V is the movie trailer. If your a big fan of the original movie, I'd recommend the 2 Disc collector's edition for the extras. Rocky Balboa has a good amount of extras including audio commentary, deleted scenes, etc.

Buy National Treasure, the 2 Disc version at Best Buy for $19.99 regular price, then bring your receipt back with the ad and have them price match it, and you'll get $11.00 (with the 10%) plus tax back, making it $9.00.

It seems like Target often puts the wrong picture with their dvds, which really helps with the price matching (I remember a while ago, they had the wrong picture of Gladiator 3 disk version for $10....... this of course was well before it became available so cheap everywhere else).

Well Target was actually good this week. I stop by today to pick up the National Treasure 2-disc version which is actually $15.99 post with signs, as I was ready to explain the ad to customer service, she scan the product and it scan at $10.00. Target caught their mistake and made the overwrite on both versions to $10.00. They just kept the signs up, I guess to make you think the single version was the only $10 DVD. :clap:

For those who have been, did your Target seem to have many of the Rocky sets in stock?

My Target probably had like 5 copies of the Rocky set today when I stopped by. I got it at Best Buy a while back for $24.99 so I didn't need it, but I happened to notice they had several in stock.

I ended up getting John Adams. $34.99 is probably the best I'll see on that for a while, especially considering Circuit City had it "on sale" for $59.99 (MSRP).
