Deadwood S1 + S2 $40.00 @ Circuit City (Memorial Day Sale Only)

Best Buy in the last week or so managed to drop each season of Deadwood to $49.99 then remark them up to $59.99.

Checked my local Circuit City tonight for Seasons 1 through 3 of Deadwood. All were marked $79.99 but I had the cashier who was working scan the first two seasons. Both were $40.00 (not $39.99 oddly enough, which is why I put YMMV, not sure if it's some sale or unknown price drop).

I didn't check for Season 3, but I assume if 1 + 2 were $40.00 chances are Season 3 was the same.

So yes, (YMMV)...Deadwood: Seasons 1 + 2 = $40.00/season

*The price recently dropped on them from $100 to $60. $40 bucks each is only a 33% discount. They should be cheaper at DD n a week or two.

True. DD has them at $44.XX right now.

Just thought I would post the deal in case anyone was interested.

Also it's worth mentioning that HBO has been repackaging the seasons of Deadwood into standard digi-pak/fold-out cases.

title was a bit misleading., was hoping to get info on finding seasons 1 and 2 for $40 total.
$20 a season would have been pretty sweet.

Um, this was because Circuit City had an ADVERTISED 50% off HBO sale on Sunday & Monday.

misleading thread title, despite the YMMV tag.

My mistake.

Looking at Speedy's CC Memorial Day AD, it mentioned "selected" titles at 50% off. Deadwood wasn't listed but I didn't realize it was part of the sale.
