Buy National Treasure 1 & 2 (Blu-Ray) for $22.90 TOTAL (YMMV)

I just came back from Best Buy and got the deal of a lifetime.

Go grab National Treasure 1 & 2 on BluRay and go to the customer service desk.

Step 1: Say you want to pricematch Wal-Mart's deal (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=9905512 ). They will honor it since Best Buy pricematches Wal-Mart.

Step 2. You're total will be deducted by $10 each from each movie (saving of $20 so far).

Step 3. It will also deduct another $5 from each movie because of the deal Best Buy has going on with Disney Blu-Rays where they get $5 off.

Step 4. Show them your Manufacturer's $10 off National Treasure 2 coupon (http://i25.tinypic.com/wjxvt4.png ).

You're total will be $22.90 or around depending on tax.

Wally.com shows OOS on the bundle. They accepted a web site printout for this? Sounds like a huge YMMV.

Worked for me in Pittsburgh. There is also a $10 blu-ray upgrade mail in rebate in National Treasure for owners of the standard DVD.

I'll give it a try I live in NH so no sales tax makes this even better! I got a 10% off 3 DVDs coupon today so I'm going to try that as well and see if I can get them for under $20 combined

fyi - this is a total ymmv because if you get anyone with half a brain they will know their own promotion, and just match it... not give you the match + the bby promo

Scan the registers and go for the one with the "deer in the headlight" look I usually get the boyscout who reads the coupons with a magnifying glass, so I'm not expecting much but I'm willing to give it a try.

I'm always instructed that I can do price matches only at customer service, not individual check-out lanes. So I'll stick with my Amazon $40 deal, which still isn't bad. $23 would be better, of course.

Some BB try to do that with me every so often. They can do it at the check out counter. I have had them do it at check out 10x more than at the customer service line. Some people just dont know how to hit F2 or whatever it is to select Price Match in the system or dont want to.

Coupon says it can not be reproduced. This is scamming. I don't mind givin' it to Best Buy, though. Go at it DVDTalkers... and take them for all it is worth!

I have read that there are also $10.00 off coupons for the first National Treasure blu-ray, but have not seen them anywhere. Anyone else?

Same here, I tried and they price matched the walmart ad but then refused the $10 NT2 coupon. Oh Well, i'll get them on sale one day, no rush.

so, worst case, if they simply pricematch walmart and dont honor the coupon, they'll do it for around $30 for both?

No. To get the above deal the OP had to have 3 different discounts honored. He got lucky. It may work for someone else, but I wouldn't count on it.

The $10 for the first National Treasure movie is a rebate you have to send away for.

As I told the folks at Slick Deals when they are going bat[guano] over New York wanted Amazon to collect sales taxes on sales to that state: Socialist Utopias don't pay for themselves. Now, PAY UP, because Caesar has better things to do with that money than you. Chop chop!

I took in the Target.com price and this same deal worked for me. $10 total plus tax for both will work for me.

I was successful with the price match, but they adjusted out the additional $10 discount. They did accept the coupon. so $30 + tax for me, still not bad...

what are the dimensions of the original $10 off NT2 coupon found on that scan hosted on tinypic? and how do you pricematch and online price, just print out the screenshot from the website?
