Dang! When I clicked on the link, I thought I was in one of those stores with rows & rows of tvs all showing the same channel.
Anyway, thanks for posting. I may pick up Bound For Glory along w/ another.

these are b1g1 so they would be more like 6.50 and up
that list is weird and there are only three or four decent titles in there... but still...
i will occasionally pay $15 or so for a SD special edition if it's a 2-disc - i.e. Baron Munchausen
i don't need BD when i can upscale SD to 1080 on my 55" screen
or i can just download (legally) an HD quality version of something i want

I highly recommend State of Grace and Miami Blues, both underrated films. The former has an amazing cast: Sean Penn, Gary Oldman, Ed Harris (insane in this one), Robin Wright, a young John C. Reilly, even Burgess Meredith shows up! Ennio Morricone did the score too.
Miami Blues is an underrated pre-Tarantino crime comedy...deranged turn from Alec Baldwin and a brilliantly cranky Fred Ward. The director of Grosse Pointe Blank did this one too.

Plenty of the MGM titles are $4.99 at Fry's and are sometimes on sale for $3.99. And, in the Big Lots thread, people have reported seeing them for $3.

2. There's a Kevin Smith commentary?
Why wasn't I informed earlier of this must-have disc? Off to procure.

I imagine that there have been many home viewers over the years who have already seen the loaded version...which is why they remember the film fondly.
Add another recommendation for Miami Blues. Good performances by Baldwin, Jenn Jason Leigh, and especially Fred Ward.
Also recommend the book, which is part of the outstanding Hoke Moseley series by Charles Willeford. As usual, the book is better, but the movie is pretty good, too.
