Is Boy's Be any good?
If so, I'll probably buy during DD also.

I would ask yourself one big question. Do you like romance/slice of life anime series? If you don't like this type of genre, I would pass on it. One thing unique about this series is that the storyline is coming from the male perspective. I personally really enjoy this series. And if you like this genre, you should try to pick this up during the next DD 20% off sale. Here is DVDTalk review provided by John.

Yeah, I'll grab the series.
For some reason, I've always eyed it when I see it in stores.

Hopefully the Sale happens soon.

MAN! I can't believe how fast that steelbook dvd is dropping! i would def recommend this to any dbz fan as the case is stylish and these are some of the best movies/specials in the dbz series! Altho i've heard they removed the DreamTheater score from the trunks special which saddens me

Looks like the price went up on Rahxephon, Noir, and a lot of other anime sets over at DeepDiscount. :\ lol even with the "sale that shall remain nameless" the price will be what it use to be before the price went up. >_<

Now I wish I would have just ordered Rahxephon when it was first marked down. eh well you pays your monies and you takes your chances.

The reason their prices went up is because ADV is rereleasing those box sets with new packaging. New SKU = removal of previous incremental price cuts...

Rahxephon is worth the retail price.

Just get the special edition of the movie from rightstuf (but don't watch it until after you've watched the show!). It's worth getting for the 54 page booklet, which helps figure out what the heck it was all about.

That is only part of the reason. They went up in prices because they were priced at around 46 to 50+% the retail price. The titles were heavily discounted and not all of them fall into this re-release category.

Noir will get rerelease on June 17th. These re-released collections will have extras only if the original collections included them. Otherwise the disc contents will remain the same while the cover art/design will be updated. RahXephon should be rereleased in upcoming months (perhaps late summer).

Probably because FYE.com jacked up their prices on anime and it is no longer considered a bargain.

Like what SBJ said, the prices have gone up. There are very few good deals left.

I swear, the timing of the Viz sales is impeccable... as soon as I get the last of my preordered manga, the new sale is up.
