Quick question for anyone who has received a damaged item from Right Stuf.

Called customer service to arrange for a replacement and RMA number and was informed that I would have to pay the costs for return shipping despite the fact that the item arrived damaged. Is this standard practice? Ever other business I have dealt would send a return mailer for the exchange. I would just like to clarify the accuracy of this policy as I am very displeased with their service.

You would have to pay for the S/H to send it back. This is standard practice. After they reship the product back to you, they will refund you the full S/H cost. Just make sure that they know how much you spent on the S/H. More details can be found here.

Thank you for the information and the quick reply. The customer service rep never mentioned a refund on the shipping costs. After hearing about an additional expense and receiving the item in pieces, it was not a good end to a day.

I've only ever had to return twice to RightStuf. The first was for a defective DVD, which I paid the return costs and didn't get reimbursed. The second was for an error on their part which they charged me twice and sent the stuff twice as well (which never showed in my account). Since it was a large amount of DVDs (18 or so), I was able to get them to send a Fedex guy to pickup the package at no cost to me.

In the event of not getting the S/H refunded, you should contact CS. You will be able to get the S/H refunded. Otherwise you can contact Shawne via email.

is the viewtiful joe anime any good? I know it's previously a VG but im unsure of the anime...tho for $3.49 shipped...the DVD and Soundtrack ain't a bad deal. any advice?

It still works. $4.99 is the regular price. $0.49 is the Deal of the Day price. You have to log in and go through the DoTD link in order to get the discounted pricing.

Does anyone know if when FYE has these buy one get one free deals on Geneon titles like some still have going on now...are box sets or complete collections included? I'm sure it's been asked before, and I'm guessing the answer is no, but I can't find the info. Thanks!

Yes and no. It appears select/most stores don't have this promotion any more. They have the B2G1 free on all ADV titles. I would suggest calling your local store before heading down there.

after tax..that FYE deal for $5 off seriously sucks...pardon my saying so, but I tried to grab DN Vol 3 LE cheap...and came up about the same price as it is when it's just backstage pass discount applied...BOOO

Well, I was at my local FYE last night and they still have the Geneon B1G1 deal going. They have some Geneon complete collections like Gungrave and Tenjho Tenge that I would LOVE to get B1G1. I asked the guys working the floor and they told me they didn't think they were included, but they didn't seem like they knew for sure. Normally I would just take them to the register and give it a go, but they're WAY up the wall, like get the ladder out high, and I don't want to be the jerk that makes them get them down only to not buy them :P
