I use these coupons every month or so when they have them, don't remember the "limit 3" thing before. Nice.

Damn their prices are high - even with 40% off. Walked out today with the coupon still in my pocket.

It's 40% off the list price, so it doesn't really matter what their regular price is. One good thing about Borders is that they are one of the few B&M stores with a decent selection of harder-to-get DVDs.

I also picked up Blast of Silence. Great (and violent ) minds think alike.

Thanks OP - picked up a classical music dvd and Sigur Ros' Heima. Tempted with Criterion's Antonio Gaudi but I can get it cheaper at DVDPlanet with a coupon. (It kills me to pay sales tax)

Yep, I can't imagine ever shopping at Borders without a gift card.

Bought 12 titles yesterday, finishing out my Oscar winner collection. Had no problem using the coupon 4 times.

List price usually IS their regular price, still making it not much of a deal.

Never been to the DVD Clubs forum I gather. Anything more than $4.75 is a bad deal.

Yeah I got somewhat burned on this picking up the 3 Disc Hot Fuzz and 2 Disc Sweeney Todd. They charged me the list price of $33 for Sweeney Todd and not the $25 sale price.

Oh well I pretty much got both for $20 so at least I saved a little bit.

You're lucky they honored the coupon for Hot Fuzz. I think it was only for 1 and 2 disc DVDs.

Then I got ripped off:

$11.99 Adventures of Baron Munchausen 2-disc
$ 8.99 A Boy Named Charlie Brown (quietly discontinued when I wasn't looking)
$ 8.99 Snoopy Come Home (ditto)
=====
$29.97 + tax (instead of $49.97 + tax)

But I'm happy. After all, $20 saved is $20 to spend on more sale items later, right?

I did the same thing the other day. I guess that's why I never buy DVDs from them.

Whatever works, works, but Munchausen 2 disc is 9.32 at DD.

I also couldn't find much to buy with the 40% off. All the Blu-Ray's are ticketed for list price, so at best you can get catalog titles a couple bucks cheaper than Amazon, and the Fox BD's would still be $24.

I wound up getting a few DVD's that were marked for list $20, which I got for $12. I think I got The Natural DC, Full Monty 2-disc and Boondock Saints Unrated.
